I was prescribed this under a weight loss program and was wondering the side effects and any info on this drug. ## I haven't come across any specific details what-so-ever on "Moxide" Water Pills. But if it came with a weight loss program, it is more than likely some sort of diuretic that removes "subcutaneous water" or excess water weight from beneath the skin. From personal experience, these types of diuretics can cause muscle cramping and dehydration if not taken properly. Unfortunately I'm not fully aware of what other side effects might be associated with that particular brand, but if you taking it, I'd recommend staying hydrated to avoid the cramping and other side effects relating to dehydration. What do it look like my doctor say i need to be taking 5mg ## You would need to take more than 1 pill if your Doctors want you to take 5 mg as a 5 mg pill isn't available. Is this per day. I would get a second opinion if someone wants you to take that much. ## Yep agreed with above there is only 2mg, they don't have anything above that ## Reluctantly I have to say you're right. I was prescribed 10 milligrams a day 3 years ago. I have since switched doctors who has me on 8mg/day, 4 2mg/daily. This isn't a med toy want to up in dosage unless absolutely need be. It's a white oval pill with P500 on one side and blank on the other. My Oxycodone 30 mg blue pills got wet, they dried out & now are twice the size they should be & no writing is on them.
