I am taking daflon 500 for about 6 weeks and the pain in my legs are still there is it normal ## hello I live in the Caribbean and my doctor diagnose me with poor circulation and small veins in my legs. Whenever I sits there are pains in my legs I've dome MRI and a Doppler ultrasound. My doctor has prescribes me daflon 500 which I've been taking for almost 2 months but the pain and sensations are still there and sometimes it hurts even more. Is that normal for me to be on daflon 500 for so long and still experiencing such pain.

That said, since this is a supplement, it is actually not proven to help with anything and possibly side effects are unknown. I was prescribed Daflonex SR 90MG supposedly to help with circulation. I have no idea as to what type of med. this is, only get very limited info which indicates that the Daflonex is a dietary supplement. If the discoloration is from broken blood vessels due to chronic venous insufficiency (CVI)), I don't think bleaching cream will work since it acts at the surface and does not penetrate. What is the correct usage for Daflon 500.. The dose is 6 pills a day, does it mean 1 pill every 4 hours or 6 pills at once? ## You can take it however it works best for you, but the NIH does warn that it may cause some nausea, dizziness, and diarrhea, especially when higher dose are taken. Are you on any other medications? Are there any other details on your prescription label?
