I know it's a lot to ask but hopefully there willbe an in-house pharmacy. ## Why are you out, if you had that appointment last week? I am afraid I am not following you. As to finding a clinic or anything, you'll get better responses if you post back with at least your general location. Hi, everyone. I am a pain sufferer for over 7 years now. Due to misplaced drill while getting my wisdom teeth out. I have been to many pain clinics tried just about everything. I have not tried Soma's. I know a different drug name in Canada but Ambien in USA. I can't take those. 15 years of every benzo and Z drugs no way. Sleep walking, talking, eating. Everything bad possible and never remember my wife video taped it. Never took the drug again. Where could I go to in Las Vegas. Were I don't mind urine, contract everything you could think off. I don't mind following. As long as I get treated fairly and get 90 days. And I will come back every 90 days that's fine. I see hotel Dr's? For pain. It just looks like 10 vics and give me $200. Or am I wrong. I have had 3 MR...

How are you? There is no such thing, anymore, as a walk-in pain clinic. If you require long-term ongoing pain management, you'll need to see a pain management specialist, will require setting up an appointment and establishing a relationship with the doctor, just like what you are currently doing. Do you currently have a PCP that might be able to refer you to one that's closer? If so, that might be the quicke...

i need to find a walk in clinic right away for pain medication ## Hello, Jeff! How are you doing? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. However, such clinics no longer exist. Due to increasing rates of abuse, as well as improper prescribing and over prescribing, strict regulations have been put in place regarding the prescribing of such medications. If you require fast pain relief, you can try going to an ER, or you will need to wait and see your regular doctor, so they can advise you on what to do next, such as seeing a specialist. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I'm sorry, but I think it's sad that we have to go through all these hoops & suffer from severe pain when I know people get these pain meds just to sell them cause they don't need them! There a...

a nurse toldf me that where I live, in Chicago, there clinics where doctors simply dispense whatever you ask for ## It has been known to happen, but such occurrences are the reason that the government has made so many crackdowns on prescription drug laws. I don't know of any place that still does this, most have been shut down. They were usually called 'Pill Mills'. If you require medications to treat chronic pain, your best and safest bet is to see a pain management specialist that can help you. Are there any other questions or comments?

Need a doc that understands long term inoperable chronic pain I am suffering bad any help would be appreciated! ## Hello, Thunder! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain. However, there is no such thing as walk-in pain management anymore. The DEA set forth new directives last year that have made most doctor's reluctant to prescribe and, when they do, it is only for patients they have an established relationship with. Do you currently have a PCP that might be able to refer you to someone? If so, that might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area? ## This is thunder I really thank you for the info. I am waiting on a new MRI and I go back to my PCP in 2 weeks. How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. Chronic pain in knees, elbows, neck (also degeneration). Holding down a job with this pain is impossible. Interfers with sleep, walking, standing, just plain daily living. I have a disabled child (5 yrs. & 70 lbs.) and has to be lifted. Pain from doing this is unbearable. Depression is a real problem. No doctor will treat me, have no insurance or money. Right at this time, I can't afford the meds or the doctor, but I need the help desperately. ## @horsefly, Sorry to hear about this intense pain you've been dealing with. Have you considered looking into any types of patient assistance programs or things of that nature? From what I understand, there are some drug manufacturers who offers these programs for patients who can't afford the full cost of their medication(s). It...

My doseage hasn't changed/ why would this happen now? ## Hello, Jane! How are you? These medications tend to eliminate fluid from the body by increasing urination, thus, you may be dehydrated, if you aren't taking in enough fluids to make up for it. Anyone out there used Morphabond ER for chronic back pain and sciatica? My pain management Dr just put me on it (was on Opana ER) and I'm sick these first days. Weak, nauseous, diarrhea, trouble sleeping, very uncomfortable and the pain management isn't that great. How long will I feel sick like this? Anyone know out there??? My Dr. took me off Opana ER because it was taken off the market. The illicit drug users were abusing it. ## I'm really sorry about your situation. I was in a very similar one. I am a 55 year old female who started taking Bystolic 5 mg 4 days ago for high blood pressure. I also have tachycardia on occasion and a heart murmur which is supposedly 'benign'. I am noticing 2 different types of discomfort in my chest area since starting the med. 1. Stinging pains in different areas of my chest and heart area at various times of the day/evening. 2. Deeper pain in heart area that kind of feels like a pulled muscle which comes and goes for a few seconds. When chest pains are listed as a possible side effect, what kind of chest pain is being described? Could this be the Bystolic causing the stinging and the deeper more uncomfortable pain? What is the Bystolic causing in my body to create pain? When I go to the walk in clinic they want me to go to the er for test...

My pain doctor is retiring in September. I have idiopathic Chronic Pancreatitis (not caused by drinking), I have never been a drinker. The last 14 months I have been functional and continued working despite my pain. The 8 years before that, I suffered every day, looked like a walking skeleton, because the docs at my previous pain clinic made me get a splanchnic block that caused severe sciatica so I could not sit for 2 weeks after each one, trying to work was pure hell, and I could not get my under-treated pain treated properly. It was not enough to keep me living life well. This disease slowly worsens, I will die early as a result of this, and I spent every day off work in awful sleeping/waking hell (fragmented sleep that was not restful) because of maltreated pain. Now I know what it ...
