I am disabled I have Part D insurance to help with my prescriptions the discount card is no good since I have the insurance so I have to pay close to $300 a month for my pills can you please help me in some way ## Hello, George! How are you? There is a program available that may help you, if you qualify, it's from the Patient Advocate Foundation and you can call them for more information, 866-512-3861. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Can you please post back and let me know if you have any luck? Thanks!

My patient has recently had two (2) toes removed and he has extreme bad pain in his right foot. If you could help him out and get the right pain medication what would you recommend? ## Ideally, only a qualified physician who's examined the patient in person and reviewed their medical history can make an appropriate judgement call on adequate treatment for something like this. However from a layman's (outside) perspective it would seem that starting off with something mid-level in strength would allow for substantial wiggle room in the dosage and/or type of narcotic analgesic being administered. In my personal opinion based solely off observation (not having had any of my toes removed and can't fathom the amount of pain that might ensue) a moderate dose of hydrocodone appears...

MY DR PRESCRIBED ME THE 2.5mg xanax and while in research for my college for a project on narcotics and the effect they have on the younger nation i found out that they are only 1mg is this something i should be worried about thank you in ahead of time shy guy ## Are you sure your doctor didn't prescribe you .025mg? I don't believe xanax comes in 2.5mg. I believe xanax comes in .025mg, .05mg 1mg and 2mg. Extended xanax can be 1, 2 and 3mg However I am not a doctor so this is only my opinion...What I do feel comfortable telling you is call your doctor ASAP, because if I am right, the pharmacist may have given you the wrong dose, ## I think , If you are starting out on Xanax, it should be a 0.25 Mg I thought a 2 Mg bar was the biggest they make. I could be wrong about that. Try to...

I have been experiencing abnormal bleeding and my doctor prescribed me Norethisterone for 21 days starting 21 March. The dosage indicated 2 tablets 2 times a day for 21 days. However, I don't know why I heard the pharmacist as saying 1 tablet 2 times a day. So from 21 March till just now, I have been taking 1 tablet each time. I only just realized my blunder earlier on when taking my 2nd dose of the day (to which I took 2 tablets upon realizing my mistake). Will this affect my treatment? I should just continue to take the correct dosage until I finish the medication? ## Have you consulted your doctor? You might need to have them prescribe more tablets for you to resolve the issue. Are you still bleeding? The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness,...

Sorry if I'm repeating myself, but does anybody know anything about Hypercon 10? I got it in the mail from London . They sent me this instead of vyvance which is for ADD. Any thought? Thanks. Lorelle ## I ordered vyvance from a pharmacy in London and was given Hypercon 10. I wanted a script of adderall or vyvance. That is what I ordered. I believet that Hypercon 10 is for the same thing but it is more of a homeopathic approach to ADD. i don't want a homeopathic approach. I don't even want to take this med. I want to know if anyone has taken Hypercon 10 and what does it do? Any thouhts anyone? ## Hello, Lorelle! How are you? Since it is a foreign medication, I can't tell you what you have with any certainty. However, if it is Hypercon, then it is the incorrect drug, becaus...

I accidently took a 3rd week pill monday instead of my 2nd week pill thursday. NOt sure where to go from here ## Hi Kayde, Generally when a pill or dose has been missed, it is my opinion that your next step should be going back to the pill or dose that you should have taken and simply starting over from there with the thought in mind that you wont keep missing or taking the wrong dose. With certain drugs like oral contraceptives, this can be a bit unnerving; but that is why it is important to adhere to the instructions so strictly as compared to other drugs that don't require you take them in an orderly fashion. Have you talked to your doctor or gynecologist about this at all? ## i took 28 pill instead of 22.am i still safe?

i was given a round, not oval, pink pill says e101 on it and manufacturer is Sandoz. Sandoz does not show a round pink pill for the 10 mg lisinopril on their website, only an oval one. Could i have been given the wrong pill? ## Wow! I got exactly the same thing yesterday and was just looking for answers. My last Lisinopril 10mg tablets were oval. These are round, by Sandoz and have the E 101 on them. The description on the bottle says "oval pink tablet". Did they just change the shape? I hope we find answers. I didn't take one tonight, but I did last night. I am going to call the pharmacist in the morning. It probably IS our Lisinopril but the shape was changed??? ## I just double checked the imprint/pill description and even though the shape is round instead of oval, what y...

I am worry about my medecine i think i got the wrong pills please let me know if i have been taking zoloft for a long time for my depression but this time i got diferent pills why? Before they allways look the same this time i got them at wallgreens ## Hello, Reyna! How are you? What are the markings on the tablets in question? Zoloft is available as both a brand name and a generic, which is called Sertraline, so not every tablet you receive from your pharmacy may look the same, since it is manufactured by several different companies. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. However, I will be happy to double check for you, if you post back with their description and the markings on them. Thank you!

I am 58 years old, I normally taking Losartan 100mg-12.5 mg as per prescription but a pharmacist refilled the wrong dose i.e., 100mg-25mg and I did not noticed that until 3 weeks later. I took the first 25mg on 11/27/15 and 2 days later I got stomach pain, muscle pain, dark urine, loss of appetite, diarrhea and lost weight 9 pounds in 6 days. I felt better on the seventh day which was 11/3/15. My co-workers said I must have stomach flu because the above symptoms have gone after one week. Now I feel normal. Should I have an evaluation for my kidney and liver? Please advise, thanks! ## Hello, Saks! How are you feeling? The 12.5mg and 25mg listed is actually Hydrochlorothiazide, which is a diuretic that helps remove excess fluid from the body to help lower blood pressure. The symptoms you...

Long story short, my wife was wrongfully diagnosed with bipolar and was put on Lamotrigine. She had weird side effects on and off while she titrated up. Eventually got to where she and her “doctor” thought was good for her at 100mg. Well something happened and her side effects got awful. Here’s a list of what I compiled: Starts talking slow and spacey Trouble breathing Loses strength and control of body Nausea Panicky Hallucinations Oscillopsia Body convulses / twitches Stutters / trouble speaking Body tensing and convulsing like being electrocuted We call them episodes At this point we knew she wasn’t supposed to be on it and another so called doctor told her she can stop at any time cold turkey WRONG we did and the withdrawal side effects are just as bad My que...

My ex was being malicious and called my doctors office telling them I was an addict and questioning how much medication I should be taking (2 or 3) I take MS Contin 60 mg. Two days later, I get a letter from my doctor stating that I was an addict and he was dropping me. I wrote the dr and told him I will bring my pills in so he can count them and give me a drug test however, now the dr won't even call me back. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions? I have MS, disc problems and neuropathy pain plus, a metal plate in my neck. ## Unfortunately, the only thing I can really suggest is that you find a new doctor. Under U.S. law, if you are not currently in life threatening danger, no doctor is obligated to keep you as a patient or to continue to treat you, so you really have no rec...
