Are There Any Side Effects To Quiting Isosorbide Mn Er 60mg After Taking For 15 Days ## Yes, if you've been on it for several weeks, these types of medications usually need to be tapered slowly, because if you suddenly stop taking them you may experience rebound effects, which could mean worsening angina, chest pain, elevated blood pressure and heart rate. Learn more Isosorbide Mononitrate details here. It's usually best to seek the guidance of a medical professional when you want to stop a medication like this. Are you having problems with it?

Dr. Says dangerous to quit c.t. I want to quit feel they are harming me ## Hi Steve, Based on my findings from PubMed, it's recommended that you discontinue use via a gradual tapering process. Reason being is that Lithium has been known to cause withdrawal symptoms with abrupt discontinuation, and even if you were to only miss it for just a few days. PubMed goes on to describe Lithium withdrawal to be more so associated with an increased risk of relapse or recurrences of the condition you're using it to treat (e.g. bi polar disorder); especially within the first few weeks. Ref: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12404784 That said, it sounds like it would be best to work closely with your Dr. on a dosing regimen that titrates your overall usage of the drug over time, in order to lessen any...

I have Afib and was on warfarin for 5 years. Got tired of keeping up with Vit K so went on Zarelto. My fingers on my right hand after about a week swelled up and hurt and so did my right arm. I called doctor and he put me on Eliquis, I've got no better, infact now it's in my left hand too. Anyone had any problems with joints swelling with Eliquis. I could use information on how long this swelling will last after getting off either of those drugs. Thanks so much Belle ## Hello, Belle! How are you doing? Has there been any improvement, yet? That's not something listed among the typical side effects, according to the FDA. It has been known to cause edema, but usually of the feet and ankles. Many people have had it cause severe joint pain, which forced them to switch to a differ...

Question, ALL I ever find on any suboxone informational website in regards to coming off of the subs are HORRIBLE....Here's the thing...I've been taking them 3 years! I got down to a quater of 8mg for a couple of weeks...then stopped. YES, it sucked...mentally mostly the first few days & not being able to sleep, but the the third to the seventh day was all stomach related and I was sleeping because I was so tired from not sleeping....By the third day, I forced myself to eat & eat right, all good foods, I FORCED myself to walk too...this all is about what everyone else said...today for me is day 19...I'm still tired, it sucks...but I get through stuff...I don't feel like it, but last week was worse when it came to being tired...but i worked & got through it......

I am having problems with light headedness, weakness, fatigue and irregular heartbeats. Can I just stop taking this med. ## Hi Mary, According to an article by Lupin Pharmaceuticals (who I believe may be the manufacturer of this medication), an abrupt discontinuation of Amlodipine + Benazepril has NOT been linked to any sudden increases in blood pressure. Ref: lupinpharmaceuticals.com/pdf/10/Amlodipine-Benazepril.pdf That said, you could probably take the manufacturer's word for it in terms of quitting, but I would probably encourage you to still talk with your doctor before making any changes that you aren't sure of. My guess is that your doctor wouldn't want you to continue taking something that's creating more problems than it's worth. Hope this helps! ## Thank yo...

How are you? You're no longer going to be able to have it prescribed by a PCP, due to the new regulations that were put in place last year. The easiest way to find the help you need would be to ask your current doctor to refer you to someone, before he retires. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Does anyone know of any good...

Is it true you could have seviours if you have taken xanax for a long time then just up and quit or would you even have any side effects by quiting ## have ben on for 12 yr how can i get off ## Yes seizures are among the many side effects of prolonged use and withdrawals of xanax but that doesn't mean you will have seizures indefinitely but keep in mind that side effects are possibilities that can happen though. Wean yourself off of xanax ASAP if you take them or get professional help in doind so because my doctor told me it is a dangerous higly addictive drug and evntually your body asks for higher doses of the drug to sustain it resulting in abuse of the drug . My mom has been addicted for at least 17 years and can not function without them and goes through severe withdrawals in w...

I had a upper respitory infection. Had to take prednisone for 3 rounds then started symbicort. I was also given rescue inhaler. I have not had to take a puff of that in a month. I have been getting anxiety attacks since and thick mucus and a feeling stuck in my throat from symbicort. I have been back to breathing normal the last couple of days without symbicort. It's only been two days but I have 0 breathing problems no tightness. No wheezing. Some mucus but it's clear and I get full breaths... Would I have experienced tightness or wheezing in this short time of quiting symbicort? Or is it to soon to tell? I can't find any info on what to expect when you quit symbicort. I have never had asthma in the past and I 42 years old I'm breating ## Those can be typical side effec...

I'm quiting Opana using Suboxone. I've gradually come down from Opana ER 40 mg to 10 mg over a period of 6 months, and am switching today to Suboxone film. Dr told me to wait 24 to 36 hrs before starting Subs (wait till I can't stand the withdrawals any longer). Normally on 10 mg Opana I start to feel withdrawals within 12 hrs, can't get comfortable in my skin, can't sleep, restless leg etc. Problem is I ran out of 10 mg yesterday so the single last Opana I took was an ER 40 mg. It's been 30 hrs and still no noticable withdrawals. I don't want to start the Suboxone until feeling the withdrawals as instructed cause I don't want the Subs to kick in and suddenly block the Opana causing worse withdrawals. How long should I wait? ## There is really no precise ...

It has been nearly 3 years since I quit smoking and with only minor urges that last only a few seconds, It was the easiest thing I have ever accomplished. I had tried many stop smoking aids and some helped but none ever addressed the true addiction. My doctor kept telling me to quit and told me that Chantix could help but I felt that it was only another money pit for something that would not be successful. But when I got to where I could not get out of bed in the morning before I coughed to the point of exhaustion, I knew it was time to do something quick. I call my doctor and got a prescription for Chantix. I followed the direction and even waited an additional week before quiting just to make sure my mind was set. That is where Chantix helped. All the other times I tried to quit I cou...

I am fresh off a 3 year opiate ride and to be quite honest I am the most weak and tired than I have ever been. The anxiety is killing me. All I want is a couple roxy and some morphine 60's. Before today I was up to about 12 roxy 30's and 10 morph 60's. I am quitting cold turkey and also quiting for the first time. I've heard this will absolutely not work and I will be a junkie again within a day. My friend gave me a handful of xanax, Nuvigil, and Naproxin. If any of you have experiences similar to mine please let me know if I can beat this with what I've been given for help being: Xan, Nuvigil, and Naproxin? I really dont want this life anymore.
