Need to now how save Vitamin D2 50,000 IU is. ## First off, Vitamin D2 is a synthetic form of vitamin D. Want you want is Vitamin D3 if you are choosing the route of supplements. I suppose you can say both are synthetic since they are man made, but D3 is as close as it gets to actually getting sunlight. Do you live in an environment that doesn't provide much sunlight? I live in Portland, Oregon at the moment so I completely understand the lack of sunshine. But if you are fortunate enough to have a sunny environment, take advantage of it for at least 30 minutes a day and toss the supplements. In the world of nutrition, too much isn't a good thing.
