I suffer from epilepsy & agree that Trioptal results in memory loss. I spoke to my doctor about this, and he advised Neurobion injections. I haven't tried that but my gut feeling is that that just might work. (completely counter the effects of Trioptal).

Any side effects ? Particularly gas trouble ? I am 53 ,female. ## Yes, as reported by the U.S. FDA, this medication may cause gas, bloating, nausea, dizziness, stomach pain and hypoglycemia, as side effects. They should go away, once your body gets used to the medication, but that may take 4 to 5 weeks, if they do not go away, or if they worsen, you should consult your prescriber. Is there anything else I can help with?
