I've heard of this med and would like to try it but I don't know if I need a prescription ## Hello, Vicky! How are you? Yes, it requires a prescription from your doctor. Some of the ingredients you've listed are Amitriptyline, Meloxicam and Tramadol, the topi means its for topical use. I'm not sure what the Pril stands for, though. But this is a special product used for topical pain relief. A doctor prescribes it and the ratio of how much of each ingredient they want in the cream, then you'd have to take that prescription to a compounding pharmacy and they would specially make it for you. The FDA lists the typical side effects for such substances as possibly include skin irritation, redness, dryness, itching and rash. Is there anything else I can help with?

u definitely took way too much ## Hello, Jamesy! How are you? What this meant as a response to some other post? If so, you can use the reply box directly under that post to ensure the person sees your response. They won't receive an alert, if you make a new post on the topic. As to the Tramadol, no one should exceed the dosage prescribed by their doctor. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything I can help with?

I'm just curious. I received ol-tram in my prescription refill that is an all white circular pill with no markings. Blister pack says ol-tram Tramadol Hydrochloride 50 mg. Anyone else know if these are real tramadol ## @bambirose, From what I've researched, OL-TRAM is reported to be a foreign brand name of Tramadol. However, its legitimacy probably depends on where or how you came about obtaining them, since as you may know, many pharmacies overseas can often be unreliable. There are also several other discussion threads here on this same topic, where most individuals note having received their blister packs from Hab Pharmaceuticals in India. I don't know if this is the case with your situation, but if it is, this particular manufacturer actually lists OL-Tram on their websi...

Please help. I received 100 mg tramadol tablets yesterday that look different than they usually do. From HAB Pharmaceuticals India. They are usually small white round tablets with one line scored across one side of the pill. This time they were slightly larger tablets, round, white with two lines scored on one side in the shape of an "X" They have never looked like this, but the packaging says the same info as I usually get. They are in blister strips of 10. Even the blister strip is slightly larger than they usually are. Does anyone else take these 100 mg Top dol tramadol tablets from HAB Pharmaceuticals that have an X scored on one side? ## That's funny you say that. I just received my tramadol from India 100 mg from HAB they are always exactly as you explained round white...

Ordered 100mg Tramadol tab from HAR pharmaceuticals in India. It works for pain. I just can't find from company web site if available in anything other than capsule form. Just wanted to make sure it's not counterfeit. The packaging is 10 tabs per package and states 100mg. Any reason to be concerned. ## Hi Bos, I believe you may have meant to say "HAB" Pharmaceuticals, as HAR Pharmaceuticals doesn't appear to exist at all. "HAB" Pharmaceuticals IS based in India and from what I can tell they appear to be a legitimate drug manufacturer there. However, upon looking at their product page, the only photo they have of Tramadol depicts it as being a small white round 100mg tablet (NOT capsule); and it goes by the brand name "Top-Dol". can I take Tramadol for hemrroid pain? ## A systemic medication isn't really going to help much. The FDA classifies Tramadol as an opiate analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Hemorrhoids tend to be more on the surface and hurt due to being rubbed by your underwear, toilet paper, slacks and etc. Thus, a topical pain reliever usually helps more, such as Preparation H. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including skin redness and irritation at the application site. Have you consulted your doctor? They should be able to let you know what would be safest for you to try.

Hi guys I had a seizure Christmas night and was in hospital for 2 weeks I'm guessing it was tramadol overdose related I took 16 in 1 day , now I'm out of hospital I still have the pain I always took tramadol for so is it ok to just take maybe 2/4 a day or will it possibly trigger another seizure ? Thank you ## Hello, Johnny! How are you? I'm very sorry about what happened. Really, it would be best to not take anything, without your doctor's approval. On top of the seizure, an overdose could also have cause liver damage, so you may need to be extra cautious of what you take in the future. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and constipation. Do you have a physician you...

We bought a bottle of 100 pills (100mg) for $70 USD in Cabo. I actually have an Rx for it in the US, but picked some up so I'd have extras. These pills are round, pink and do NOT have score lines...and I'm pretty sure that is because they are time released. Time released pills work by slowly removing the outer layers over time in the gut, therefore they should never be cut in half. Well, they're not supposed to be, anyway, but some people do. I just took one so I'm going to have to wait and see if it is a good brand. The bottle was sealed and had cotton in it on top. The pharm company is Victory. We'll see.... haha. Although we Americans are skeptical, it just so happens that it is very normal to find Rx drugs (for us) to be non-Rx in other countries. I bought Codein...

I purchased tramadol in a border town in Mexico this past summer. "ANDROMEX laboratories ANDROMEX S.A.DE C.V. Carretra a techuacan #3942 Puebla Pue" is on the bottle along with directions in Spanish. I purchased 2 bottles for $30 (120ct 100mg) OTC in Mexico. They were not sealed or had a protective lining to prove un-opened. However it did come with a child resistant top and a strong one. The pills are real. I saved nearly $900 as I don't have insurance. Just because it is Mexico it does not mean it's no good or contaiminated. If anything, it is better than here in the States. There is nothing for them to gain or a need for them to supply counterfeit. Only illegal low-level dealers do that. In Mexico it is legal so no point for them to sell fake pills. ## Hello RGVtouris...

I have been taking Hydrocodone 10-325 for 5 really shattered disc's, in which 5 of the top Neuro-surgens in PA stated that I would be a dead man, if they operate. I live in constant pain and the Hydrocodone helps a little. Now a VA Doctor prescribed Tramadol 50mg tabs. This Doctor is not my Primary care Doctor, just a fill-in. Correct me if I'M wrong, but this seems to me that this will in no way take away my pain, and furthermore, it seems like pain management. What are the answers, and What can I do???? ## If you get relief from Tramadol I would stay on that. If you have a condition with chronic pain all the time you would need more than Norco. You would need Oxycontin and since you would most likely be on it for life you don't want to take tylenol every day. Chances are y...

So i am checking to see of anyone has any insight or suggestions as to where i may b able to purchase tramadol after the 18th of august which is when tramadol becomes a controlled substance. As you know from the topic I am addicted to tramadol er 100mg twice a day. I want to come out from addiction. I tried so many times but failed due to pain I also can't sleep at all please help me. Please let me know other medicines for the replacement of tramadol. Thank you ## Tramadol is a mild opioid, so anything equivalent that you could try to replace it with would also carry the risk of being habit forming. Have you sought medical help for this issue? Usually, a slow taper is needed to help prevent the worst of the withdrawal symptoms, which may include nausea, fever, chills, diarrhea, depression, insomnia and rebound pain. ## Tramadol is not mild in any form or fashion. Dosed out on 50 mg is huge, make no mistakes. You can see this because doctors say nothing regarding its dow...

Does the topiramate help back pain because ive just been changed to pain management and my new doctor just changed me from tramadol to topiramate 50 mg and I haven't seen anything about back pain on here. Can someone help me before I start taking this? ## It can sometimes help with certain types of nerve pain, according to FDA reports, it is also used to help prevent seizures. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, mood changes, and weight changes. (NDC 0245-0708) The only way to really discover how it will work for you is by trying it. Have you started taking it, yet? ## I am not a doctor. I can only share my personal experience and opinion. I take Topamax (the branded version of Topiramate) for a seizure disorder. I have had allergic reactions t...

Found green and yellow capsules with no markings on them in my teenagers room. Been surfing online and this page showed up with the same description. What is it? How can I be certian? , and most importantly how should I discard it. ## @UnknownGhost, In my opinion the best way to know for certain what's inside it is to have its contents analyzed by a lab and/or drug panel. The fact that it has no markings is what concerns me, because it could literally be anything. Were you given any clues as to why it might be tramadol? I didn't happen to see the other page here on this topic that you may have been referring to... And I know teens can be difficult to work with (we've all been that way at one point), but hopefully a heartfelt and non-judgemental parent/son talk will help get ...

I'm freckling out big time. I told my doctor the other day I was worried cause I'm loosing too much hair, he said cause I'm on hormone replacement I won't lose it all. But he forgot to mention that it has been known to loose hair from taking Tramadol. Well I truely know what won't be doing anymore and that is taking Tramadol. I'm not s...
