A medic prescribed it for gastrointestinal issues but my whole body started trembling upon finishing my dose and apparently it has refused to go away. My Doctor has told me to preserve. i have stone in kidney and doctor has prescribed to take the above said tablets. I was prescribed Cyclopam tablet for relief of stomach cramp during menstrual periods..is it okay to take one tablet every month as I see there is a warning message of liver damage of over dosage? Kindly advise. ## One of the ingredients in Cyclopam is Acetaminophen and it may cause liver damage or can be toxic if you overdose, but to do so, you'd have to be taking over 4,000mgs a day. The first would be if someone were allergic to one of the ingredients that it contains. And the second would be if someone were to take to much and overdose on it. Any medication has the potential to be toxic if someone exceeds the recommended dosage amounts. Long term usage could also cause problems due to organ damage or failure. I happened to give 10 ML of cyclopam as against 5 ML prescribed to him and that too for 3 times. 2 times yesterday and one dose today. I am very much worried . can i take dolopar,cyclopam tablets after taking alcohol,since i am suffering from fever ## From what I've found, Cyclopam won't help with a fever, it contains the active ingredient Escitalopram, which is an SSRI antidepressant. cyclopam using really leads to weight gain?? ## Hi Kimmy, From what I could gather, Cyclopam contains the active ingredients Dicyclomine 20mg + Paracetamol 500mg. As far as weight gain is concerned, neither ingredient appears to list that as a possible side effect. However Dicyclomine on the other hand does list "gas or bloating" on the webpage for the US National Library of Medicine. Would you describe your weight gain as a feeling of fullness in the belly? If so, perhaps some digestive enzymes and probiotics may help alleviate those symptoms. I have occasional left side lower abdominal pain which continues to scrotum and left leg. Doctor precribed cyclopam and normaxin. I have the history of stone earlier and cured by taking some medicine. My SGPT (ALT) is 52.4. Uric acid 7.3m/dl. Total Cholesterol 237.1mg/dl. Taking udiliv 150mg and febutaz 40mg. I am a teenager and I am suffering from severe pain during the periods. For me and my child Cyclopam is a life saver. My son suffered severe nausea and vomiting; couldn't retain any liquids or solids. We took him to the doctor who prescribed Cyclopam Syrup. 5ML three times - BAM!!! He recovered the next day back to normal. I have not seen any side effects. I tried it on myself and it worked. Well, certain drugs are meant to be taken with precaution with expectations of side effects. There is no medication without having any side effects. Doctor recommends it because it is needed to your medication condition. If you think too much about the side effects, refrain from taking any medications.
