why has my new pharmacist filled my new prescription with orange tablets when they have always been white, are these colors and numbers on tablets correct? M525 and93 321? ## Hi, Manny! Sorry for the confusion, I wish more pharmacists took the time to explain any changes. Diltiazem is actually a generic medication, so it's manufactured by several different companies and the marking on each must be different, so that it can be identified in case of an emergency. The color and shape are entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. Thus, these are both the same medication, in the same dosage, they've just been manufactured by different companies. The one with the 93 321 on it has been made by Teva Pharmaceuticals and the one with the M 525 has been made by Mylan Pharmaceuti...

Usually take Percent 10mg and this time was given round Pink pill with N P 12, I've had a number of serious knee and leg surgeries and I've been taking for two days and I'm not feeling very well, stomach is upset and feeling nauseous but not to bad. Is this extended release? It was prescribed every 4-6 hours, is that right? Is this the same Medicine? I'm worried I was given the wrong Meds, but looking it up it does not seem different. Any information would be greatly appreciated. ## This tablet is manufactured by Zydus Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone, so you have received the correct medication, it's the regular release formulation and they typical dosing schedule. The pill is tiny, very light peach or rose color, has the letter p on one side and nothing on the other. It is round, with flat top and bottom. It is supposed to be a 12.5mg ( 12 1/2mg ) HCTZ pill of Canadian manufacture. Is this the correct pill. thank you ..... ps. There should be a website that carries pictures and descriptions of ALL medications, regardless of country of origin or manufacturer. And hopefully a free site. ## A red and white oval with the idintifier P10 ## As to the Canadian tablet, I am sorry, but when they are from outside the U.S. it is difficult to confirm what they contain. I've been taking diltiazem 120 milligrams once in the morning and once at night. I've been taking it for several months and I can never fully wake up I feel super sleepy all the time my doctor said to try to start taking it at night only. When will that other extra dose get out of my system and when will I possibly feel more awake? ## It may take a week, or two, before things fully settle back down and you really start to feel better. Have you ever checked your blood pressure, while feeling that sleepy? While this medication can cause drowsiness and dizziness as side effects, according to the FDA, it shouldn't be that severe. You may be experiencing very low blood pressure. ## Might be too much. Check your blood pressure.

I started Augmentin 875-125 on Friday, today is Monday. The day before, Sunday, my chin/jaw was very itchy. It was a deep itch and not a surface itch. Last night before I went to bed, I noticed that my lower lip felt/looked a little swollen and also saw that I had several little blister type spots under my lip and down to mid-chin. I am a "zit picker", so I just gently popped them it seemed there was alot of liquid in them for how tiny they were. Now this morning, Monday, I still felt that little swollen feeling on my lower lip and figured it was from the popping of these tiny blisters the night before. When I looked at my face, I saw that there were around triple of the amount of these tiny blisters than there were last night and they were more spread out. Again, I gently poppe...

If I took my antibiotic at 8 in the morning and it says to take one pill every 12 hours what time would my next one be? ## If you took the first one at 8am, then you should take the next at 8pm, and so on. The FDA lists the typical side effects of antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with? ## My script says take 2 tablets every day by mouth. Should I take 2 at one time or 1 every 12 hrs? ## I'm supposed to take 500 mg. clarithromycin every 12 hours for 5 days WITH 500 mg tinidazone twice daily for 5 days so I'm totally confused. Do I take them at the same time?

I had a serious reaction to this medication. The only thing I have ever known that I was allergic to was Sulfa so I didn't think there was any problem taking this drug. I was proscribed this for a really bad sinus infection. 45 minutes after taking one Amox Tr-K Clv 875-125 pill i started having nausea. I then started having diarrhea and vomiting. The vomiting was pretty consistant, I would heave about ever 4-5 minutes for 4 hours strait. Finally when the vomiting ceased i started getting sever cramp in all of my extremities. If I moved my arms or legs at all they would cramp. I then drank 2 quarts of gatorade over a 2 hour period and the cramping subsided. The entire time this whole thing was happening I was running a fever around 103-104F. It was an awful experience and was so pai...

I took one dose of this drug for a cat bite. I took it with food as prescribed. During the night I had extreme stomach pain so bad I thought I was going to have to go the er. I have been on this drug for 6 months due to an AFIB episode. Before taking this medication I was never likely to nap or being drowsy during the day. On this medication I feel like I need a nap daily and non motivated. My PCP and Cardiologist say it is a side effect that my body will adapt to, but with me that is not the case. I wake up tired after a good night's rest. I am going to the Doc to see if I can switch, but have anyone else have had this? ## Hello, JB! How are you doing? Did they switch you to a different medication? I had similar problems with many blood pressure medications. It took about a year to find ones I could take that wouldn't make me miserable, after I had congestive heart failure. Other side effects to this medication, as listed by the FDA, may possibly in...

Is there a difference between the drug Diltiazem 120mg taking tablets or capsules? ## Wow! Here was a really personal question, and I can't wait to see answers. I started taking 30 mg tablets three times a day for a total of 90 mg. When 120 mg capsules became available, I was switched to one a day. That dosage controlled my tachycardia well for some time, but then I was diagnosed with a defective aortic heart valve, and I rejected replacement, preferring to risk failure rather than accept the negative aspects of replacement. After continued control of tachycardia for a year or more, the episodes increased, and since I maintained refusal of valve replacement, my cardiologist, with some trepidation, increased the diltiazem to two times a day for a total of 240 mg a day. The episodes a...

My tolerance is of course increasing to this prescription and I can not get a new stronger does from my Doctor as this med facility has strong rules against it. So since this does wears off after 6 - 8 hours can't I basically just increase to 3X/day by taking it every 8 hours instead? Here's a strange twist to my story: My Dr. said no to an increase in dosage and referred me to an outside pain specialist for my pain meds BUT! I also noticed that for the last two months my monthly prescription labeled for 60 tabs actually has about a weeks worth of extra oxy's. I know I'm not missing any doses. Any opinions? ## Hello, B Hughes! How are you? If you up your dosage on your own, you're going to run out early, which could end up with your doctor flagging you as an abuser/a...

My doctor has switched me from Percocet 5/325 X2 Every four hours to oxycodine 10mgs but Sometimes they make me feel really sick and sleepy. I can be nauseated and sleeping at work. Can I break these in half ? ## No, this is a regular release formulation, so yes, you can cut or break them, as long as your doctor approves. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Cant split slow release thr coating is made to release a small dose in a 12 hr period and it is dangerous ! Never do that w slow release meds ! Does anyone have experience with this medication? Preferably the Tynept 12.5mg brand from India. ## Tianeptine isn't available in the U.S., so I'm not familiar with it. The available information I've found states that it is used for depression, but also some forms of pain, and anxiety. There are many similar medications available in the U.S., and Canada. It may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, mood changes. and weight changes. Here is some more information on Antidepressants from the MayoClinic. Has this been recommended?
