Hello, My wife had a tsh level of 7.2 in first 3 weeks of pregnancy than we started thyronorm 25 mcg we continued it and in 10 week pregnancy tsh came out to be low as 1.2 than i continued the same medicine but last 3 days back i got her tsh as 8.2 so now should i increase the dose of thyronorm to 25 mcg to 50 mcg or 100 mcg please suggest. Her delivery is due after 10 dayss only..... ## Her doctor should be making the decisions on whether or not she needs a dosage adjustment. What have they advised? Since she is pregnant, it is especially important that this be monitored and her dosage adjusted very carefully. Her doctor should be helping and this shouldn't be left up to your guesswork. I am taking now thyronorm 125 but now my TSH now normal can I continue same dosage ## Madam my age is 28 and tsh more than hundred my Dr wrote 125 mcg tab. I suffer weightloss after I'm using those tab is. My treatment is correct ## My tsh level is normal now.. im using 125 is correct i am feeling sleepy and dul. At the time of first my tsh is 150 ## You should take the dosage prescribed by your doctor, and for as long as your doctor deems it appropriate for you. My baby is only two and half month old. She has a tsh level of 7.16 and Dr.suggested her thyronorm 50mg 1 tab daily for two years. Is this tab safe for her? Hi Doctor, Iam 22 years old female and have no other health problems other than thyroid. I am a 36 yr old female. Diagnosed with hypothyroidism with very high antibody titre. Initially prescribed with levothyroxine 50mcg, weight gain of 6 lbs per year. Had to change endocrinologist, new prescription for thyronorm 75mcg. Current weight gain is 4 kgs per month, after taking thyronorm 75 for 30 days. Also, thyronorm intake resulted in joint pain, which was not experienced during levothyroxine intake. Should I revert back to levothyroxine 50 or continue thyronorm 75? ## They are both the same medication, Levothyroxine, the Thyronorm is just a brand name for it, so the only difference is in the dosage. Based on recent report on thyroid test... Thyroid increases from 14 to 23 ... And doctor increases the dosage from 25 mcg to 75 mcg. It's been 2 -3 days since i m taking the increased dosage. Ths was .512 after delivery with 75mg thyronorm. Later started taking 75 and 100 alternative days. Aft 20days kind of rashes and iching was seen on my skin. Is this because of over dosage. two months ago Itested my thyriod found TSH 16.35 my weight is 78 kg height 5'3" ihave also dm2 hypertension nero doctor give thyronorm as 25mg for 2week &after that 50mg for 3month but endocronologis suggest me take 75mg for 1month after taking 50 mg 1month again test TSH found 6.4 after seening report doctor asked me u take 75mg Itold yes due to doctor angry with me as I take 50mg he again sugested me take 100mg & 70 mg alternate day but I take 75mg perday it is properdose for me or i take 100/75mg alternate day ## My T3 is 122 - T4 is 9.6 - TSH is, 0.82 I am 48 years. please tell me more about side effects of thyronorm tablets as I have been on it since past 2 and a half years 100mcg, have psoraisis too! ## The side effects will really not change, though if your dosage is adjusted you may experience more of them. Have you consulted your doctor? You may not be in the right dosage of the medication. Govind, these thyroid medications will only help with Thyroid issues, they will not fix your blood sugar problem, unless it is somehow directly related to it, but that is not very common.
