My friend has been taking these White diamond shaped pills everyday right before soccer practice, he says they are energy supplements. I took one from him and cut it in half and the white is only a thin layer on the outside the inside is brown speckled with small yellow, dark blue, and black spots. Does anyone know what this pill is? It has no markings. ## If there are no markings, it is going to be difficult to determine what it contains. We can rule it out as being a U.S. prescription medication, because they are all required, under law, to have an imprint to enable their identification. However, it could be any one of a large number of over the counter products. I've seen many vitamin supplements that meet this description, however, there is also a chance that this may be a forei...

I want to know what is the best way to apply fortesta because I'm getting inconsistent blood levels even though I do the same process every day. I've been rubbing the gel in until it's dried (like you would do with a lotion) but maybe it's just supposed to be spread into a smooth layer on your skin and allowed to air dry. I am applying to the inner/front thigh as specified in the directions. ## Hello, Townie! How are you? I don't know of anyone that gets consistent levels, even using these supplements. Many have even reported a good level after a month or so of use, then a sudden dip, again. However, the application instructions do say to spread it evenly and then give it a few minutes to dry, so I'm assuming you're not supposed to completely rub it in. The F...

My grandma bought me epitrel and it is from Mexico. I do not understand exactly how to use it because it is in Spanish. My acne is about gone but I have scars from it and was told that this is supposed to help. Is this true? How often should I apply it to my face? ## Hi Elizabeth, I can confirm that it is an acne cream, with the US product equivalent called "Retin-A". Epitrel contains the active ingredient Tretinoin; which is mostly used to treat severe acne. The directions say: "Apply a very thin layer, at night, before bed. You only need to use a very small amount. Wash your face in the morning with a good cleanser, then follow with a good moisturizer." Learn More: Tretinoin Details I hope this helps! ## Use a dime size on affected areas only twice a week until your sk...

We bought a bottle of 100 pills (100mg) for $70 USD in Cabo. I actually have an Rx for it in the US, but picked some up so I'd have extras. These pills are round, pink and do NOT have score lines...and I'm pretty sure that is because they are time released. Time released pills work by slowly removing the outer layers over time in the gut, therefore they should never be cut in half. Well, they're not supposed to be, anyway, but some people do. I just took one so I'm going to have to wait and see if it is a good brand. The bottle was sealed and had cotton in it on top. The pharm company is Victory. We'll see.... haha. Although we Americans are skeptical, it just so happens that it is very normal to find Rx drugs (for us) to be non-Rx in other countries. I bought Codein...

Will this product stop new tattoos from pealing? Will it make the ink run? Is it okay for new tattoos? ## Hello, Bek! How are you? No, it will not stop the peeling. That is a natural process, because skin cells are killed and damaged, while the tattoo is done, so nothing is going to stop a layer or two of skin from peeling off. No, topical ointments will not make the ink run, it is actually down in the tissue and not on the surface where that could happen. And no, you aren't supposed to use an antibiotic ointment on your tattoo. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I know in the comments above it says not to use pomada penicilina on a new tattoo. Can u please explain why w/ more detail. Since it is an antibiotic wouldn't it be better to use it once, not several times, just...

I've seen many people using sonaderm nm for face to improve complexion & it works very quickly.....is it safe to use it to face. ## @Madhu, According to the manufacturer, Sonaderm NM can be used to treat bacterial and/or fungal derived skin infections (including, but not limited to): Infected atopic dermatitis infected excoriation bacterial superinfection of chronic superficial mycoses otitis externa infected steroid-responsive dermatoses eczema psoriasis They go on to note that it is used by applying a thin layer of cream to the affected skin area(s) two times daily along with gentle rubbing. If you happen to have a skin condition similar to what is mentioned above, I personally don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to use it on your face, unless instructed othe...
