Hell no its a waste. No matter what order u take the 2, you run the risk of getting more sick, wasting your pill or money, or worse, both! Haha never take the 2 in the same day. Ive been on subs 4 years (4years too long) but I would have to stop taking suboxone for 2 weeks of being sick before id feel the effects of oxy roxy or hydrocodone. Good luck to ya. Take another sub if anything the 2 just dont play nice together ## Hello, I don't know if your post was intended to be directed at another user (based on your wording); however, I do agree with you in that Suboxone should not be taken with any other opioid medications. I'm not one to speak from personal experience, so I'll leave the more concrete details to others who've already experienced this. But until the subs ar...

I have a round orange pill with AN on the top and 415 underneath. I'm pretty sure its a generic suboxone, but how do I take it? Do I swallow it or let it dissolve under my tongue? ## Hi Teresa, Just to confirm, the round orange pill in description is in fact a generic Suboxone tablet; containing 8mgs of Buprenorphine + 2mgs of Naloxone. Manufacturer: Amneal Pharmaceuticals As far as proper dosing goes, the guidelines state that sublingual tablets should be placed under the tongue until it is completely dissolved. Apparently, swallowing the tablets can reduce the bioavailability of the drug itself. However, you may want to discuss this more with your doctor first, since dosing instructions can be somewhat patient specific, depending on the case. You can learn more about this drug on ...

I was taking Suboxone films for over two years and they worked incredibly well for me. This month I was switched over to the generic Suboxone tablets (the orange, round AN 415) because my insurance will no longer pay for the films. I am already having plenty of issues with the new medication. First of all, it takes over 1.5 hours for one tab to dissolve under the tongue. I take two 8/2mg tabs, so it takes over 3 hours a day to take these meds. It doesn't even dissolve completely after this time frame; it just turns into a large, thick pile of paste that sits under my tongue and between my bottom teeth. The taste is nauseating, especially when it is sitting in my mouth for over three hours. Either the dosage is not the same as the films, or these tabs are not absorbing correctly, bec...

Unfortunately I had a slip after 3 years of being clean. I took suboxone 8/2 sublingual strips. I recently saw the doc again & I was prescribed the tablets. My first dose will b in morning. Is there any difference in reaction time til the meds start to work? Just seeing if anyone out threre with a different opinion. ## Hi, Grizzly! How did it go? Most people find that Subxone works very quickly to stabilize things and prevent further withdrawal symptoms. Learn more Suboxone details here. However, it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Well it's been 10 days & all is well. If your not careful this too can be very addictive. As I stated I've been down this road before. I used meds for 3 days 3 tabs a day than litera...

How soon after your last dose of percocet can you take this? I want to stop taking them. ## You have to be in full withdrawal, before taking Suboxone, otherwise it may throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals, unless your doctor has instructed you otherwise. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Today is april 8th and all i want to know is will i go into full w/d even though i took opiates april 6th? I dont want to take this suboxone pill if it will make me more sick. ## I'd wait at least 12 hrs b4 taking one depending on how many mg ...

I found this AN 415 pill in my BF precipitó along with an A 14, he is been on the road for pill addiction, is this pill for treating withdrawal? I'm afraid he is back to his addictions again. Please help ## Hello, Juliana! How are you? Both of the tablets you've found are generics for Suboxone 8/2mg and 2/0.5mg respectively, which is used to treat drug addiction. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## To me whether it be the Films, The Round Orange one, The Round White ones, or The Original 6 sided one, if your doing them the right way, A suboxone is A suboxone. They all work the same, IMO,! You've j...

I've always gotten the orange Amneal marked AN 415. Recently in the past few months the main pharmacy I was using Walgreens were telling me that they were out of those kind and I had to look for pharmacies that did have them after receiving the white Actavis brand which was the worst switch! I just looked right next door to Safeways who did have them. Eventually Walgreens told me they were no longer going to be getting those kind after telling me that they were on "back order" for so long. The pharmacist who is usually nice was a jerk about it also. So I moved permanently (or so I hoped) to Safeway but the last 2 months they too ran out and were allot nicer in telling me that they have been having a hard time ordering the Amneal orange ones and that they might not be getting...

My girlfriend takes Suboxone and recently the pharmacy has switched brands. They are orange, slightly smaller and have 970 on one side. I think she is having terrible SE from them. Under her tongue is raw so bad. Also hot flashes. Severe. Head to toe she gets soaked! This seems since the pharmacy changed pills. Has anyone had these symptoms? ## Yes!! These new orange Sun Pharma 970 are awful! I was unfortunate to get some of those with my last script. I hated them so bad I searched over 7 pharmacies in towns an hour away just to find the Amneal AN 415 orange ones again this past Saturday for my months script. Thank goodness i found a pharmacy with just enough to fill my whole script so I wouldn't have to take any of those other kind. I am a self pay patient so I can usually switch w...

was taking the white round suboxone with moon on it for terrible opiate addiction and doing well. Last prescription refill was given peach colored round ones and they DO NOT work as well. I was working my program with minimal cravings and now it is a different story. These generic ones do not work the same. Will continue to fight the fight and stay clean-one day at a time ## I completely understand you i have been taking half moons all along ...until tonite my Local Cvs told me they are no longer dispensing them?? So with no notification i got home to find out I was given brand Roxanne Peach 54 375?? I am unsure of these and have not taken 1 yet...i am praying they are not like the orange AN 415 ...those are terrible do nothing for me. Half moons have been working very well for me....i ...

I just got off 8mg suboxone strip a day and now my insurance won't cover any because of my rise in copay, I was just wondering is there any difference in the, an 415's and the films besides being slower to kick in and dissolve? I took 2mgs off a, an 415 . And not working near as well.. ## Other than what you mentioned about the tablets potentially being slower to kick in and dissolve, the only difference I'm aware of is the list of inert ingredients used in the AN 415 (Amneal Pharma) tablet, which reportedly contains the following set of binder/fillers: acesulfame potassium + citric acid anhydrous + FD & C Yellow No. 6 + lactose monohydrate + magnesium stearate + mannitol + povidone + sodium citrate + corn starch. From my experience, I believe a number of these fillers c...

Since I've been taking this new generic suboxone 54 375 it make my arms and hands hurt!! I've been taking suboxone for 3 years now, and I've been switched to most everyone that's came out. I was taking the orange with AN 415 on them. It's now been 7 days and everyday it does the same, causes pain in my arms and hands. Then as the suboxone wears off they stop hurting. I know it sounds weird but I swear it's the truth!!! Anyone else having problems with this new generic suboxone 54 375?? Please comment!! ## Hello, Barry! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem you're having. It really doesn't make much sense, to be quite honest. If the new tablet was a little lower in the amount of the active ingredient, since there can be fluctuations, I'd at...

How much does generic suboxone cost compared to real thing ## Prices are actually going to vary according to a number of different factors including: location, quantity, dosage, dosage form (i.e. sublingual, film, or vial), etc. However as a rough estimate, based on what I've seen online, suboxone can be up to a couple hundred more or less depending on whether or not you get the generic vs the brand name. Definitely a significant difference in price, but I believe many would argue that you do get what you pay for in the price difference. Everyone may react/respond differently though, so I would just be open to generic options if you've had luck with them in the past. I hope this helps!

I wason the AN 415 orange generic suboxone tablets and for no reason at all other than to cut their ordering costs Rite Aide just switched to the 93/5721 generic suboxone tablets they are no where near as good I have diarrhea, nausea, irritability and high blood pressure after switching to the Teva brand. The pharmacy swears the tablets are the same milligrams and same active ingredients, but I highly disagree. I was slowly tapering down on the orange AN 415 but since being put on these I can't do that any longer. I usually don't complain when insurance was covering it but I am disabled and only get $630 a month since I'm paying $301 out of pocket for them each month I expect the best. ## Wow! That is a crazy out of pocket cost, I can't believe the prices for some medicat...

I was given a pill and told it was suboxone, it has a big AN on the top and 415 under the letters. There is nothing on the back. Learn more Suboxone details here. Since it contains an opiate narcotic, it does have the potential to be habit forming itself and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation. They did not work for me like the brand name suboxone. Not...

I was on the generic suboxone pill the round orange AN 415 tablet when I went to pick up my remaining partial perscription I saw that the pharmacist handed me a completely different pill it was the new pink/peach 54/375 tablet I immediately questioned this pill wondering if in fact it would be as good! Well I took the first one tonight and I feel they work much better for me I agree with many others on this forum it's all mainly the way the body metabolizes it in my opinion it's like different strokes for different folks! ## Glad to hear that this newer tablet is working well for you. I know it can often times be a gamble when you go to the pharmacy frequently and expect to get the same thing every single time, only to be given what's left in the shuffle. Thankfully getting ...

I got my suboxone prescription refilled last night and they are the an 415 but the a is looks like this ^ not like this A but everything else is the same. Are there new ones being manufactured or is this not legitimate? ## I got the same thing last night and I'm wondering the same thing. It tastes the same and everything. ## It could just be an error in the printing struck into the tablets. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. How are they working for you? I was prescribed and took Suboxone Films for 3 years, and tolerated them very well. Unfortunately, my insurance stopped paying for the films, and I had to start taking the generic Suboxone tablets (Buprenorphine/Naloxone 8/2mg sublingual tablets). I filled my first prescription at Rite Aid, where they gave me the hard, orange tablets made by "Amneal", with the imprint "AN 415". I went into withdrawal the second day after beginning those pills. That was the worst month of my life, as that medication did absolutely nothing beneficial. This month, I took my prescription to CVS, where I was given peach colored tablets with the imprint of "54 375", manufactured by "Roxane". While this brand is slightly better than the Amneal brand, I am still having adverse ef...

I've been given a valium 2mg about two hours ago and I've asked to be weaned off hydrocodone (up to 12 per day). But the withdrawals are so horrible I'm wondering if I can take a 1/4 of a an 415 will I be ok? And I've eaten soup n fruit. ## Hello, Anna! How are you? The tablet with the An 415 marking is an 8/2mg Suboxone tablet. The FDA lists this as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Was the Suboxone prescribed for you? If not, then you shouldn't take it. It is only meant to treat severe drug addiction. It is not meant for people that have only been taking therapeutic doses of a medication. What types of symptoms are you experiencing? H...
