This pill is nasty. It is described as SR by the manufacturer (slow or sustained release). I have been taking Millen 4 x 20 per day with no problems. Was this pill dispensed as a mistake by the pharmacy or by the doctor. I took less than two and didn't get a wink of sleep. Markings are Sandoz peach, scored, 790, SZ or ZS. The bottle says SR. It has taken me so long to get to get to the combination of pills I am at that if I rock the boat, I am scared that the whole research of a group of safe pills will be in jeopardy. I can cut back on the Sandoz without a problem, no odd effects as described on the net, ## Just discovered that I have been wasting years -- and tasks undone -- by taking generic Ritalin manufactured by Sandoz (not time release). Hasn't done anything for me and my...

He filled one-third of the prescription and said to contact the doctor to decide what to do. He said ritalin capsules, 20 mg la (long-acting) is still available from novartis. Has anyone out there had any similar difficulties? This may cause problems with my insurance plan...or delays. And I don't have transportation to go from pharmacy to pharmacy looking for ritalin tabs 20 mg sr. Would appreciate any feedback. Thank you in advance. ## Sunday night, and my Rite Aid pharmacist called to tell me the same thing. He said any pharmacy (Rite Aid, Walmart and more) that orders their pills from McKesson w...

I am an IBS patient. Doctor prescribed me Morease SR capsule 200 mg twice a day after meals. In the beginning days i felt comfortable and i increased my food and milk consumption but on other days i feel very uncomfortable; and am left to drink milk and eat other oily food. Today i checked my stool with my naked eye and i found something tiny, small and white colored. It looks like seeds of tori and also like a small egg. So i'm afraid of what this round/egg shaped object is... Is it a piece of my medicine (Morease) or another thing?

Is it safe to crush this pill? The directions say not to crush it, but it is too big to swallow. ## No, it is not safe to do so. Potassium is very harsh on your gastro-intestinal system, so crushing or breaking the tablet could lead to your developing ulcers, gastritis, or other similar conditions that may be life-threatening. The stomach pain and gastro-irritation that it causes are the most common side effects that the FDA lists for it. Have you talked to your prescriber about this issue? If your insurance covers it, you may be able to have an IV infusion of potassium, instead of taking the tablets. ## I solved the problem by having my Dr. prescribe 10meq. If you take 2 now you would take 4. Much easier to swallow. ## I had the same problem. I was supplied with the uncoated pill and i...

Another problem with generic not feeling my normal self as with Watson mfg. After two weeks I'm irritable moody cry easily and problems sleeping...don't dare to be sociable. Same problems as the generic Sunco... Why aren't these regulated better? This is my life. ## Hello, Laura! How are you? Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredient, by as much as plus or minus 20%. However, they do not have to measure against each other, only against the name brand. This was done to help bring generics to market faster, in hopes of keeping prices lower. The FDA considers this an acceptable therapeutic window and, for most people, it doesn't cause a problem. But some people are sensitive to medications ...

Last month (Feb 2014) my pharmacy filled my prescription for bupropion hcl sr 200mg with product made by actavis. It was an oval yellow pill. I felt dramatically better, and was looking forward to continuing to use the same product. Now it is apparently no longer available because Activis was bought by Watson. My new prescription is a round white tablet with wpi 3335 written on it. Has anyone else had experience with this particular product? Has anyone found success with any other version of this product.
