Recently my right leg ancle got sprained.soft tissues of my feet were damaged.feet becam green colour.Since i dint take the proper antibiotics some infection happened in my feet.after that i have used some strong antibiotics used for both pain and infection.Now the total swelling gone.But the pain and darkness of the feet are still there.Can i continue the hifenac p tablets.Because doctor asked me to stop this table and if the pain is more then only take the same.Please suggest me are there any side effects from this tablet. ## this site is not medical professionals and from your description, it seems like you ended up with a serious medical issue that could have endangered your life and you should follow your doctor's instructions. Will Methocarbamol Help with pain from sprained ankle? Went to ER-not broken thank God...Did not want a narcotic but do have Methocarbamol from chest injury from a car accident ..just wondering if it will helprobably? Thanks ## I'm glad it wasn't broken! You should really have this checked out by a doctor, because you may have broken a bone or torn a ligament. Have you tried using an ice pack on it? Have you taken any medications for it?

Was not able to fill perscrition for ibuprophen 800 mg. ## Orphenadrine can help with muscle spasms, so it may help some, but really only time and rest will allow a sprained ankle to heal. I atm 53year old. I have fallen from bike. Right side of my chest severely sprained. Now I have severe pain when I bend to take some thing fallen on ground. Also I have severe pain when I cough, even finding pain while taking deep breath. Is dolonex is the right medicine or you suggest some thing else with it.

It is not normal to have severe pain, from a healing sprain, so my concern is that there may be a fracture, or something that they missed. I sprained both my ankles and took 1 cap of olfen 100. I had a lot of gas build up as I slept and later started vomiting. I am on thyroxine tabs daily. Should I continue with it as I still have some pain? And is it safe to use it with thyroxine? Thank you

Regarding your question on which one to take... both Meloxicam and Zerodol are classified as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs; which are widely used to treat pain, fever, and swelling. Based off that information you could probably get by using either one to help provide at least some amount relief from the pain. However because these are prescription meds, I'd still recommend talking with your doctor first just to play it safe. Hope this helps!

I had sprained my ankle really bad playing basketball. So this other player told me to take a roxy 30. (I don't take pills much at all). I told him that, so he said to take half. So I took half of it. At first it was ok, but after a few hours i started getting a headache. It has been 5 hours since i took it and my head is killing me. I do not like this feeling one little bit. Now I know why I have hardly taken pills. Next time I will just try marijuana. Hi, I got a minor sprain 15dys ago, muscle pull on my back while hitting gym. As it ws minor doctor suggested me to continue light weight practice with mobizox tabket and have been doing daily physiotherepy too. As i ws alrdy taking androlic. .I continued both together.I have stoped androlic after taking 10tabs bt now pain as increase. Is it somethin serious?? ## Have you considered having x-rays done just to be on the safe side? I wouldn't think that it's something serious if your able to continue doing light weights, but it's most likely that there is fluid retention and inflammation at the site of the pain; which can sometimes take two weeks or longer to subside if you "aren't" doing any weight lifting. No one is really going to be able to give you a definitive answer from just the limited information in your post. Androlic is an anabolic steroid and improper use of it can cause damage to your body, some of which may be permanent. The Mobizox contains the active ingredient Chlorzoxazone, which is used as a muscle relaxant, so it can help with pain from muscle spasms, but will generally not be effective against pain form other causes.

Hi, I have a badly sprained ankle, and after 2 days my doctor has prescribed a course of Difene to take down the swelling & help with the pain. I know I can't take ibuprofen tablets (like Nurofen), but can I still use a ibuprofen 5% w/w gel overnight? Thanks Charlotte

I have a badly sprained hand and possible fracture. I took Ibuprofen 800 mg an hour and a half ago. Is it safe to take the Hydrocodone 10/325 now? ## They can usually be taken together, unless your doctor or pharmacist has instructed you not to combine them. I took Naproxen for three days for an ankle sprain. The first two days were fine, but on the third day I ended up in urgent care because of the side effects: splitting headache, dizziness, terrible rash, elevated pulse and stomach cramps. Needless to say I stopped taking Naproxen. The next day I was much improved, but still had the headache, dizziness and elevated pulse. Since then, things have been more or less the same. Sometimes the headache and dizziness are terrible, sometimes mild. My pulse is always elevated, but sometimes by a lot. On the 12th day after stopping Naproxen, I had a blackout. I was given a generic toradol 10 mg from a friend for when I sprained my hand. My question is what are the effects of this pill? e.i. I was given 15mg of Meloxicam for a badly sprained wrist, form a fall. My pill says 159 on one side and CIPLA on the other side. It's pale yellow. On the RX bottle it says 15mg. What does this mean.
