I was taking pre-filled injections of Enbrel for 4 weeks and didn’t really see much difference until I switched to the click-pen on Wednesday, which, since then I have had scabs all over my face and an itching sensation like crazy. I've been diagnosed with RA. Been on methotrexate about a year then started getting skin problems, always at dermatologist. Then last thing I just discovered was on my vulva area a white spot it attacks soft tissue. Came to find out its squamous cell carcinoma... surgically removed thank God. Now my rheumatologist wants me to start on methotrexate again and could happen again. Lord help, everything else has same effects if not worse. What to do? I've had a bad month with flu and a sinus infection. I'm somewhat immune compromised as I take immuran for Crohn's Disease. I was prescribed doxycycline, and then azithromycin, with no relief from the sinusitis. My doc put me on a 3 week course of levaquin 750mg. The levaquin has been helping my sinusitis, but I've been developing some troubling side effects. First side effect was gastritis with nausea. As I have Crohn's, I know how to deal with gastritis, but none of my usual strategies were working. Finally just did some pretty big doses of liquid gaviscom, which did help. I'm having an unusually severe skin irritation when applying my Fluorouracil creme (5%) this time. This is the 3rd time using this drug, but the first time on my cheek. I am 19 years old and was on accutane for 6 months last year, and now am facing some stomach issues. About 2 months after coming off the medication, my body started to change. In the past year I have lost about 20lbs, and am constantly dealing with stomach issues (indigestion, constipation, diarrhea, lack of appetite, acid reflux). Have been on a 7 day course of Trimethoprim for 5 days now for a bad UTI/ Kidney infection & it seems to be working ok as regards the pain in my stomach, sides & flank but I must admit that it does make me feel as though I have the flu coming on (eg) joint pain, headache, mixture of constipation & diarrhea, just generally yucky in general. I've been taking simvastatin for about 4 months and have had a really bad itchy skin reaction, but nothing is relieving it. I do not see this posted as a side effect. Not using grapefruit juice, what else might it be interacting with to cause this great discomfort? ## I've been on simvastatin for over a year. Several months I contracted an itch. I recently had cataract surgery and developed corneal abrasions afterwars, which were extrely pàinful. My eye surgeon ordered me doxycycline NYC 100. I have been on it for close to a month. He has indicated I should coniue on it for another month. I also have Fuchs endothelial dystrophy. There are certain medications, or topical applications that may help, but most are processed through the liver, so they could potentially cause you problems. Have you talked to your doctor about it?

When I was using Axiron, I developed 2 skin tags in my arm pits. I want to have a normal Testosterone level but not with these gross tags growing under my arms. How are you? it might be due to the testosterone, hormones can sometimes do that, but it could also just be normal for you, some people are prone to developing them. Skin tags are really harmless, they can just be annoying and unsightly. Has your doctor confirmed that's what they are? You should make sure to have them checked out to be certain. If they are, they can be removed quite easily right in your doctor's office.
