Pfizer BDN 25. Filled an rx in Mexico they were supposed to be something they are not. What are these pills? They are round, blue, and scored on the side opposite the BDN 25 marking. ## I am having trouble confirming what it is since it's from outside the US. The only real way to know what is in the pill is to send one to a drug analyzer company, which may cost you money. I have heard of rare instances where local pharmacies have the capability to analyze drugs on site but I wouldn't count on it. ## This little blue pill you're mentioning you bought in Mexico is Bonadoxina it is used for nausea, vomit, vertigo. ## It’s for nausea.

Is the new formulation of fioricet now class 3. A controlled substance. ## Hello, Mary! How are you? That is what being on Schedule III means, it's been found to have potential for abuse and dependence. The Butalbital in it is a barbiturate. But you do need to understand that most prescription drugs are considered controlled substances. Is there anything else I can help with? ## It is the same except it now has 25 mg of Tylenol less. The ratio of tylenol to the barbituate changed and that is what made it now a controlled substance. It's crazy!

I have been on Ativan for 25+ years name brand. I have no insurance and do not qualify for assistance. Does anyone know where I can get this at the best possible cost. It is now over $600 for 45 tablets. I have tried generic in the past, which did not work for me. Any suggestions on coming off or switching Rx's. I have tapered down to 1.5 from 3 mg per day. Still feel I need it to function normally. Help appreciated. ## Hi flowers, If you don't have insurance and are unable to qualify for any patient assistance programs, I would encourage you to look into Rx savings cards. MedsChat actually offers one that can save you anywhere from 15% to 75% off your prescription, potentially cutting the cost drastically. You can view more details about it on the following page: Rx Savings Car...

I have been on Paxil before- and it worked wonders for me. I have now been without it for a few years as I lost my health insurance and could not afford it. I found several websites that I can get it without an RX, but am wondering how safe that is. Has anyone purchased Paxil this way? ## It is not safe, Paxil contains the active ingredient Paroxetine and, in the U.S., it requires a prescription. When you order from a website that doesn't require a prescription, they are usually of foreign origin and the medications have not been approved for safety and efficacy by the FDA. It is available as a generic now, under the name of the active ingredient Paroxetine and a 30 day supply of the 40mg tablets only costs around $25 to $30. Have you considered trying it?

Can you tell me who manufactures RX 791? ## RX 791 is Simvastatin 20 mg manufactured by Ranbaxy. The brand name equivalent is Zocor. ## I cannot find out anything about Ranbaxy....Where are they located....and are they a reputable firm? ## Ranbaxy seems to be a large manufacturer with locations throughout the world. why is this drug no longer made? Only effective one for chronic migraines. Wise up drug companies this is a very effective Rx for migraine Ha's. Why should nurses suffer, doctors, too and millions of others. UNFAIR JUST SO THE FAT CAT DRUG CO'S CAN GET RICHER AND RICHER AND RICHER? ## Hello Susan, Reviewing the companies decision to discontinue this medication I found really no answer so likely it just wasn't generating enough money to be a viable option for them to continue manufacturing it. I was able to determine that the two pieces of this drug are still available through prescription, 50 mg of demerol and 20 mg of promethazine are the two ingredients in this medication and are both still available on the market. Taking these two together would be the equivalent of one m...

MY RX was converted from 50000 units of vitamin d to 1.25mg. Is this the correct equivalent? ## Yes, that is the correct equivelent, but unfortunately this is for PRESCRIPTION vitamin d. Over the counter vitamin d is the recommended form of vitamin d by researchers- you can use the same dosage. Please read my page on prescription vitamin d to see why researchers say that it should not be used for supplementation: blog.easy-immune-health.com/nutrients/vitamin-d/prescription-vitamin-d-not-suitable-for-supplementation Prescription Vitamin d has a higher chance of toxicity, shroter half life and it is less potent than over the counter vitamin d3.

I had an Rx filled and was supposedly 250 mg divalproex sodium ER. It is orange, oval shape, and number 512 one side, blank on other. I also have a white pill, oval shaped, with number 724 one side and W on other. I believe it to be the 500 mg version but need to verify. I transfer my Rx from pharmacy bottles to my own containers so they are a more convenient size for me. Dumb in retrospect. Can you help? Thanks, taxman ## Both of the tablets you've described are 250mg dosages. I wouldn't call you dumb, it's a very common mistake that a lot of people make and it's the reason sites like this exist. ;-) Is there anything else I can help with? I don't know where my ex gets these pills and they are not the first. she gives them to my 11 year old and 13 year old. my daughters keep bringing different kinds of medication that are rx only. they never see a doctor. should i report this? Please help! ## RX656 contains 250mgs of Cephalexin, a generic for Keflex. This is an antibiotic. This should not be used unless they have a valid reason to use and it is prescribed by a doctor, otherwise there are dangers of side effects and development of drug resistant infections. It is also illegal to have these without a valid prescription or give them to anyone else, child or adult.

I have taken generic hyzaar for years.for the past 4years I've taken losartan potassium HCTZ 100-25 mfr by SANDOZ. They 2 days ago I got my refill and it was a different color pill and made by NORTHSTAR rx. Two days of taking them and my BP goes up to 154/122! Holy crap! My norm is 120/80. Has this medicine acted like this for other people? ## Hello, Vicki! How are you? Has there been any change? There can be fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient in generic medications, as allowed by the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984. Thus, this one may not be as potent as the one you were taking. The 122 is concerning and you should have this checked out, if it's still going that high, as your doctor may need to prescribe a different medication. ## They changed my meds back to the orig...
