What Dr in California can prescribe Rx773? ## Hello, Lisa! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 1mg of Lorazepam. The FDA classifies this medication as a benzodiazepine that's most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. It carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. And technically, any doctor with a license to practice medicine could prescribe it, but due to the new DEA directives that were set forth last year, most will not and you'll most likely need to see a psychiatrist. Do you currently have a PCP that might be able to refer you to someone? If so, that might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need. Ca... ...

Sounds like furosemide ... A diuretic ## Hi Roxx, The closest match I've been able to locate is Allopurinol (100 mg). It is a white round pill with imprint N020. It is manufactured by Northstar Rx and has a National Drug Code of 16714-0041. Allopurinol (Zyloprim, and generics) is a drug used primarily to treat hyperuricemia (excess uric acid in blood plasma) and its complications, including chronic gout. It is a xanthine oxidase inhibitor which is administered orally. Possible side effects - Because allopurinol is not a uricosuric, it can be used in patients with poor kidney function. However, allopurinol has two important disadvantages. First, its dosing is complex. Second, some patients are hypersensitive to the drug, therefore its use requires careful monitoring. Allopurinol has ... ...

I don't think my Norco is real. It does not feel like it is working and I am having w/d symptoms. It's small, white and round. The markings are RX 497. I've heard that fake pills are making it into the states from overseas and I think mine is fake. Has anyone else experienced this problem? ## Hello, JBT! How are you? This tablet is listed as containing 10mgs of Hydrocdone and 325mgs of Acetainophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Were you taking a different one, before? There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients from one generic to another, so this one may be slightly lower than the prior one that you were tak... ...

its that twacky quack ## Found a match! it's Carisoprodol 350 mg, which is a centrally-acting skeletal muscle relaxant whose active metabolite is meprobamate. To learn more click on the link below... Do you have any more questions or information to add? Please post back if you do. ## Generic Soma is carisoprodol, which is a precursor of meprobamate. It is not meprobamate itself; but it is in the same class of drugs called dicarbamate derivatives. They do not relax skeletal muscle tissue directly--they relax the body through their sedative properties. And carisoprodol--brand name Soma--is not nearly as potent as meprobamate (brand names: Equanil, Miltown) which is a Schedule IV controlled substance. Carisoprodol is not controlled, it is Rx Only--unscheduled. But it does have abuse po... ...

Found round white pill in brown cottle dated 1956. Rx #6052. Could be Valum. ## Hi James, How's it going? I just tried looking up the Rx number you provided, but after a few searches came to realize that this number can't actually be used to identify any pill in particular. I believe it's supposed to be a number the pharmacy might use within their realm of keeping track of prescriptions. However if you still happen to have the pill in your possession, I would encourage you to post back with any additional markings that might be on it as well. This way we can know for certain that it is what you say it is and not something else in the wrong bottle. I hope this helps and I'll look forward to hearing back from you! ...

Found round white pill in brown bottle dated 1956. Rx #6052. Could be Valum. ## Hello, James! How are you? Unfortunately, the RX number only provides information to the pharmacist that filled the prescription, it is not a universal thing that can be used to identify anything. Being that they are that old, the likelihood of finding an identification is pretty slim, because it's probably something that isn't even manufactured anymore. Is there any other information on the label? Any markings on the pill? ...
