Hello. I was just given a refill of 5-325 Oxycodone/Acetaminophen (Percocet). These pills are much smaller than the large white pills I normally take (8 yrs). These new pills have RP on one side. So far I have taken 2 and they don't feel as strong as what I'm used to. I have been advised to take Repace-25 (1-0-1) alongwith Zyloric 100 (2nos) daily for high bolld pressure(140/90) and for uric acid. I am having knee pain of late. Is it due to the Repace 25? if i stop taking repace 25mg what are the side efeects? ## Repace contains the active ingredient Losartan and this is not a medication that you can just stop taking abruptly. Doing so, without tapering off of it, or replacing it with another medication could cause severe rebound effects, such as elevated heart rate and blood pressure and such effects have been known to be fatal. At age 50, had to take pain meds for the 1st time in my life ourside of hospital surgical.procedures. Been on Percocet 10/325 for almost 2 yrs now, with NO increase in quantity prescribed. In fact, I TRY to NOT take unless really needed. This month I had my Rx filled at a pharmacy newly added to my insurance plan as is closer to my home. BIG MISTAKE!
