Was prescribed clonidine for hot flashes and night sweats. Has been very effective in stopping night sweats but instead of lowering my blood pressure my blood pressure has gone through the roof. Yesterday and today I have been getting blood pressure readings of like187/90 and 179/80. I do have high blood pressure but take meds for this and in usually about 140/80.
