Re: The price of hydrocodone... I've been told big store chains now have limits on what they can order; store policy. The stores are now more afraid of robbery. So, each store is raising the price, not the manufacturer. Go to the small private pharmacies. I've been told they will have the medication in stock. They can set their own limit on the amount they keep in stock. Last time I went to fill my medication, they were on backorder. I checked 6 stores that were close and they had none. I had to drive a half hour to get it filled. Today, it was triple the price. For those who need medication to function, this is unacceptable. ## Since this is now a Schedule II, the increased security involved in dealing with this med is the reason for the increase in cost. looking for the price for Arithri-D. want to know price before ordering. ## First, you should be informed that Arthri-D is a supplement, not an actual medication, therefore it has not actually been proven to help with anything. Their website lists the ingredients as: Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Magnesium, NAG, Chondroitin, Termeric, Rice Flour, Boswella, Ashwagandha, Bromelain, Evening Primrose Oil, Green Lipped Muscle and Hyaluronic Acid. As to the price, those who use our site and have called them have reported that it ranges from $50 to $60 a bottle, which is rather expensive for a vitamin supplement product. When you order, you are also enrolled in a recurring shipment plan, which is automatically billed to your credit card each month. Are there any other comments or questions?

I don't have insurance but I do have an rx discount card. Does anybody know which pharmacy in Los Angeles sells Nitrofurantoin Mono/mac 100mg for the cheapest price...help....it's so expensive without insurance....i paid $44 for 14 tablets at Ralphs and need to find a cheaper price than this. ## Though it can vary some from area to area, I'm afraid that's about the average price for them right now. Learn more Nitrofurantoin details here. This is an antibiotic, so how long will you be taking it? Have you tried calling other pharmacies in the area? You may find it a few dollars cheaper, but I doubt there will be a significant difference. How do Barclay Pharmacy get away with charging $1200.00 for 150 pills of Roxiecodone???!!! And $500.00 for 180 pills of Methadone??!! ## Supply and demand. There is nothing that makes them charge less. When supplies are short, they can charge as they please. Generics are supposed to be cheaper, but sometimes things happen that change that such as a shortage in raw materials. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## There is no shortage or anything else, each pharmacy is only allowed so many of each. But yes they can charge whatever they want because their not regulated. But thanks for the reply.

why would the price of hydrocordon acetiminiphen 5-300 be more than 5-500 ## Hi, Martha! The price may be higher due to several factors, such as being made by a different manufacturer, or if you would be prescribed more of the one that you would be of other. Learn more Vicodin details here. It isn't always the dosage that affects the price of a prescription drug. Which has been prescribed for you? ## I'm amazed at the prices I'm seeing. I have hydrocodone 5/500. I got 30 tablets from Walmart for 25 cents each! No insurance. These price differences are crazy. But I can see how the 10mg ones would be double that price because the non-acetaminophren part (the Hydrocodone itself) is the narcotic, but more than $1 a pill just doesn't seem right.

If I have to pay out of pocket, what will this drug cost me per month? ## Hello, Marla! How are you? I'm sorry, but I don't have a price to quote you. There is also a prescription discount card on each page of this site, towards the lower right, that is free to print. It may help save some money on it. need to see picture of glyburide/metformin .5/00 believe i may have received the wrong pills they look different than last ones ## Hello, Lynn! How are you? Can you please post back with the markings on them, as well as their shape and color? Since this is a generic medication, it is manufactured by several companies and each has different markings and may also look different. This is very common with generic medications, because it creates market competition and helps keep prices down. However, I can't possibly list them all or post pictures of all them for you. The FDA classifies this medication as being an oral antidiabetic agent and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizzies, flatulence, bloating and hypoglycemia. I would like to know cause I take methadone and I've got subutex that a friend gave me but I thought it might hurt me ## I know for certain never to take suboxone..I take 90 mg of methadone and done a quarter of suboxone and litrally died they brung me back but I still have side effects from that nite ## @loco, I have to concur with becca on the fact that it's probably not safe to use either of these drugs within at least a few days of each other. One counteracts the other so much that it could potentially put your body into a life-threatening state of withdrawal (if taken at the wrong time). I have seen testimonies from other people who accidentally attempted this and later paid the price. Apparently when your receptors are filled with methadone, buprenorphine may take the meth...

My prescriber wants me to take a very expensive psych med called Rexulti (~$1,100/mth), and tells me that Medicaid won't drop me for doing so. If you know Utah politics, they are still fighting ACA Medicaid Expansion and finding ways to reduce Medicaid programs such as PCN. I feel that if I take such an expensive medication, that puts a target on my back to be dropped at the first excuse. The state Medicaid office and pharmacies will not tell me how much each is paying, so I am left to guess if they have worked the price down, or if it's the bullet I think it is. As an alternative, I am thinking of taking its analog Abilify (aririprazole). But the problem is the same, they won't disclose pricing and Utah Medicaid refuses to pay outside Utah such as a Canadian pharmacy that s...

Unless you are willing to call each pharmacy, you cannot tell which pharmacies carry which brands of fentanyl patches at which prices. Could we have a page or a bulletin board, or database that allows people to post what they know and find out what others know? The example I use is Mylan fentanyl patch 25mg. Tom Thumb just told its pharmacies that they cannot order Mylan patches. I am sure other such problems do and will exist for other medications as the financial and political battles progress. ## Most pharmacies will not discuss fentanyl patches unless you are standing in front of them with a new script which they believe is valid. ## Trying to find a pharmacy that carries the Mayne Par fentanyl patches. what are my options? What is affordable I have no insurance?what matches up to this in morphine sulfate ER? ## I'm sorry, I hate to see anyone dealing with such difficulties. However, I don't know what the prices will be in your area, since it can vary from location to location, pharmacy to pharmacy and it will depend on the dosage, the amount purchased and etc. And if you were to go with the Morphine, you'd need 32mgs of it to equal each 8mgs you take of the Dilaudid. Since you have no insurance, you may do better with the Fentanyl patch, it is a very potent narcotic and each patch lasts for 3days. Learn more Fentanyl details here. how much for reduce 15 how many in a packet ## The price and quantity of Reduce (Sibutramine) 15mg is likely going to vary from distributor to distributor at each location, so I can't really give you details on exact pricing. However from what I could gather, each box is said to have a 10 day supply and can cost about $10-13 bucks from various distributors in Taiwan. I hope this helps!

I am just trying to find out how much ten of these tablets will cost me to get filled but no one will post the price they post everything but freakin pain pills! ## Hi, they will cost less than a dollar each. Go to walmart the prices are better, more like .50 each. ## Sorry you had such a frustrating experience. The reason most places don't list prices for any controlled substance is due to the risk of theft, they don't actually want to put it out there and have people know whether or not they carry them. However, from what I'm finding, the current price for the 5/325 tablets runs about 60cents each on average, of course that will vary from area to area, but you should be looking for a pretty cheap price if you're just getting 10 of them. oxycodone prices have doubled in less than 30 days in tenn. rumor has it that the manufacturers ,being top 8 have been sold an now there is only 1 producer of this product! ## It's not that there is only one manufacturer, now. That is only relevant to the name brand time released product, Oxycontin. The current problem stems from the fact that each year the DEA sets a manufacturing limit on how much of any controlled substance can be made and distributed. The figure is based on prior year prescriptions, as well as information from the FDA and the manufacturers, once the total amount is determined, it is split between the manufacturers. Usually, this gives a very good idea of how much the market will demand in the upcoming year and helps minimize how much is out there to be stolen an...

I want u to get us a function that enables us to get the name and price of generic medicine for any medicines that are non generic and costly and prescribed by doctors who dont prescribe generic medicines . That wil b very helpful. ## I'm sorry, but this site does not do that type of thing. If you need medication information, there is an alphabetical list towards the top right of each page of our site, where you can find links to the monographs for known U.S. medications. Doing a list, such as what you are asking, would be very difficult, because patents change pretty regularly, with some medications becoming available for generic and others receiving extensions. Is there a specific medication that you needed information on?

Whats the difference if any...is one better than the other. Two pharmacies in town and same price but different brands...??? ## The truth is that each individual may react or respond differently to each and every brand/generic out there. One of the reasons is because there are different binders and fillers. The other is likely due to differences within our own body chemistry, metabolism, age, weight, and a number of other personal factors. That said, finding the appropriate manufacturer may just be a game of trial and error, because even if one person responds favorably to Mallinckrodt (for example), you may respond more favorably to Wilshire. My point is that it all comes down to personal preference in the end. And the only way to build a true personal preference among all the options ...
