I'm a text book described person who should have no problem getting a Rx from my PCP yet he refuses adamantly to prescribe. Soma/ carisoprodol is the best medication for this type of pain but no docs are prescribing? any reasons? ## SOMA has little therapeutic properties but it sure feels good! To Hell with Plavix

I had a heart attack and DES stent and was told to take Plavix, Metoprolol, Lipitor, and aspirin. I quit taking Plavix after 6 months even though my cardiologist wanted me to take it for 2 years. I also quit taking the Metoprolol, Lipitor, and aspirin. Well that was 9 months ago when I stopped taking everything and I feel great. My doctor says I was lucky that nothing happened. Lucky? Luck has nothing to do with it! I became a vegan and follow the Ornish diet strictly. I take vegan Omega3's. I also take coq10, a multi-vitamin, and drink unprocessed cocoa. I exercise. My LDL without drugs is 70. My bp is 105/70. To hell with Plavix. ## Actually, the reason your doctor said you were lucky is due to the rebound effects that suddenly stopping such medications can cause. These effects ca... ...

My physician called in a order of #120 10/325 norco on october 2, 2014, my pharmacy says they honor any/all refills prior to october 6th, I was given 2 r/f by dr. I asked monday when I can fill my xanax, wednesday they called n said xanax anytime, u have to wait til 14th for ur hydro refill. Botttle last month said not-refillable, is it law to put that on label? Obviously my pharm is honoring my refills prior to 10/6. I assume they just legally must put "not refillable" but real info is on their computer? ## Hello! How are you? The best thing to do would be to check with your pharmacy. Some of them are honoring refills written before 10/06 and some aren't. But if they said they are honoring them, then they most likely are intending to do so. This is a narcotic analgesic, so ... ...
