Back pain with Viibyrd
I started Viibryd a week ago and have been experiencing severe back pain and my feet are tender. Has anyone experienced this? Also, Im experiencing dizziness, fullness in my ears and agitation. Immediate relief came for me upon taking my first 10 mg dose. My mood lifted and I feel more engergized and motivated. Can I take a multi vitamin and fat burner pill with viibryd? Im ready to resume my fitness routine. Thanks for your responses. ## I'm very sorry about the side effects that you're experiencing. However, most of them should resolve in about 4 to 6 weeks, once your body gets used to the medication. If they do not, then you may need to try an alternative drug. A multivitamin usually isn't a problem, unless your doctor says that you shouldn't take one. However, which ... ...

Hydrocodone Capsules
I received my usual prescription of Hydrocodone (10mg. compound form, no additives/Tylenol, etc...) from a new/different pharmacy. The capsules are 3x larger than the previous capsules I had been receiving and of course, appear to contain 3x as much hydrocodone. New pharmacy says all is well, only Hydrocodone... just as prescribed. Anyone ever experience this? ## Well, since they are compounded, it's very difficult to say, but it really just depends on how they put them together. At a different pharmacy, they may use more fillers than your prior pharmacy did, but that doesn't mean it actually contains more of the Hydrocodone. Are there any other questions or comments? ...

viibryd horrible drug
I was feeling good at 20mg. I began to experience some side effects such as not being able to sleep or falling asleep then waking up about 4 hours later. When I woke my heart was pounding and I was very anxious. I called the pdoc in the morning. He told me I was experiencing something called "breakthrough". He upped me to 40mg thinking that would help. I had been at 40mg for three days and I knew that was enough. My heart would pound when I was awake as well as upon waking. Along with all that he has me on an anti anxiety med Ativan .05mg three times a day. It works but I'm only allowed this dosage at this time. Since I've had no sleep I think that I could use more Ativan. He says that any more than that I could become addicted to it, So, its 12:58 am and have taken the ... ...

when and how to take meds
had foot surgery doctor screwed me up now i am in more pain than before and his nurse in all of her wisdom thinks that im not in pain.doc says i need another surgery but when i call for a refill she puts on the bottle two twice a day must last two weeks and she gave me 60 pills how many should i take ## 1st tell your doctor, hes the boss and if the script says 2 twice aday thats what it means it did'nt say take as needed for pain. Then sit down with her with a piece a paper and put 2+2= 4/day x's 14= 56 or 60 + 60=120/month i got confused somewhere but I know 4/day is 120 ha,ha. Either they dont want you to take that many or shes doing that on her own and like I said shes not the boss, my doctor writes my prescriptions not his nurse unless hes not in. ## 1st tell your doctor, he... ...

suboxone and methadone
i am starting on suboxone next week...one of these messages says never tell the suboxone doctor you were at one time on methadone..why is that so,if it is ? ## I've never heard anyone say such a thing, nor have I read it anywhere. I am guessing it may have come from someone that was abusing it, rather than using it for treatment. There are many people who have successfully switched from Methadone treatment to Suboxone treatment to finally beat their addiction problems. With Methadone, they usually end up needing a lifetime maintenance dose and never get completely drug free. This is not true, however, of the Suboxone and for proper treatment, you should always be honest with your doctor. Please post back and let us know how you are doing! ...

doxy-cycl hycl 100Mg cap
It says two times a day. Is that no less than 12 hours close, or can it be 11 or 10 to switch the time of day around some. It is hard to stay up until 1 am. Have about 7 1/2 more days to take this. Enlarged red vein is what is is given for. June 13, 2014 ## Hello, Louise! How are you? To properly eradicate the bacteria, the level needs to remain fairly constant in your body for the duration of the time you're being treated with it. And hour or 2 isn't going to make a huge difference, but you should try to keep them as close to 12 hours apart as you can. Side effects to this antibiotic may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

And can I take propranolol on an empty stomach? The reason I've not asked my doc these is that I never got a chance to, with all the panicing and now I can't contact one till tomorrow due to having no minutes. ## Hello, Chanika! How are you? It can be taken with or without food, so unless your doctor says otherwise, gauge it for yourself, if it makes you nauseous on an empty stomach, then it would be best to take it with food. metoprolol withdrawal
i've been taking metoprolol for several years as partial treatment for high blood pressure. through diet and xcercise, i've lowered my BP to the point my doctor says drop the metoprolol. i did, 3 days ago, and i'm soooo tired, dizzy, irritable, and my vision is blurred. is this withdrawal? how long will it last? i remember starting this medication was terrible to get used to. it appears that stopping it is just as bad. ## I am experiencing the same thing and I am tapering off of the metoprolol. I have only been on for a couple of months and now the withdrawal is just as bad. I am down to 12.5 mg two times a day. It is tough. ## it went away after a week or so. i feel great now, and my BP and heart rate have risen slightly, but thats the reason we stopped it. i've lost en... ...

Placebo Whats The Point
I have a sleep issue. It seems that once 11 pm or so comes around there is no way for me to fall asleep unless I take something to help me. I have been taking Temazepam 30 mg for over a year. I mention placebos only because I only hear about them because of 'studies' conducted, usually which results in the fact that placebos usually work almost as good as whatever there being substituted for. However what I want to know is why my doctor continues to renew my prescriptions even though most info regarding the type of drug I'm taking says you don't take it forever? Now I can't ask for the placebo, that would eliminate the principle idea of how a placebo works....your brain thinks your taking the pill that always allows you to fall asleep. Seems like a catch 22....if you... ...

Levothyroxin Tab 50mcg
I am so confused and need help quick pretty please! My doctor wants me to take the medication to LOWER my thyroid, but in the medication description and side effects it says to take this is the thyroid is too low to get it higher so I just don't get it? The pharmacist asked me if my thyroid was too low and I said no, it is normal but too high to become pregnant safe and sound, then she said that I have the wrong medication if that is the problem and that too much can make me hyperthyroid. I'm soon to be 40 years old and as I said I am trying to get pregnant. Have been trying for some time(long story) and my fertility doc said my thyroid test came back as 3.81 and said that it is tecnically normal, BUT since I am trying to get pregnant they said it should not be more then 2.5 So,... ...

Citalopram Hbr 20 Mg Tab
Could citalopram Hbr 20 mg tab cause itching of the skin on arms, head and face? Warning on bottle mentions "avoid prolonged sunlight". ## Hi Vickie, If it says to avoid prolonged sunlight, the medication probably causes some sort of Photosensitivity. Photosensitivity is a skin reaction (i.e. rash) that occurs after exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun or an artificial light source. This could explain the very symptoms you're describing. I do also want to note that itching, rashes, swelling, hives or blisters, are all listed as severe side effects of Citalopram; in which case it would probably be best to let your doctor know about this as soon as possible. Ref: nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a699001.html#side-effects I hope this information helps! ...

please help find pain dr.
I am in the Covington la. northshore of new Orleans. I have unrelenting RA and sciatica because of spinal stenosis. I have been on an antiinflamatory and Norco 5 a day for over a yr. my orthopedic says I have to go to pain management. I don't want shots in my spine. does anyone know of a pain dr. in this area who can treat these conditions with opiates? I sleep maybe 3 hrs a day, neverat night because the RA is too painful. constant panic attacks! ## There is no way of knowing how a dr will treat you until you've seen them a few times. Have you seen a Neurologist for an EMG for the sciatica ? You will need a copy of... ...
