i am taking cidine as a powder but soon to be in pill form. The doctor in spain prescribed it as i had a bloated stomach that sounded like a hot water bottle when rubbed. I started taking lisinopril a couple of years ago. I never really got the cough. However I got acid reflux that was debilitating. I was prescribed pantoprazole for that. I hate the long term side effects and was looking for an alternative - and wondering how I suddenly got reflux. I stopped the pantoprazole two weeks ago and am coping with apple cider vinegar. After some research it seems that lisinopril can cause stomach issues. So I stopped that yesterday and am drinking hibiscus tea instead. My mother was taking Omeprazole for about a year for her GERD, and she started to develop a severe side effect which is generally unreported - extreme depression. Needless to say I urged her to stop that medication and take a hard look at some natural supplements for her diet. after 4 months of 37.5 venlafaxine 2 times daily i stopped taking them 4 days ago and have bad symptons.should i start again and reduce amount slowly ## Have you consulted your doctor on this? Most of these antidepressants will cause minor withdrawl symptoms, but they should not be severe after just 4 months of use, you may be over the worst of it, already. ## my doctor told me that this is NOT a drug take for a while and then just stop. You must be weinned off of it slowly.

What to do when a 60 year old male takes an APO 020 (20mg) not prescribed to him? He has been taking 2-3 pills at least once a day for 3-4 days. His symptoms are dry cough, fever, earaches, fatigue, vomiting, black stuff and leg cramps. ## Call poison control or his doctor ASAP. APO 020 Omeprazole is not one of those common "recreational" drugs so he should not get in trouble for it, and they can tell you the appropriate course of treatment. As far as treating GERD (I assume that's what he is taking it for??), he may also wish to consider Apple Cider Vinegar supplementation in the future as long as his doctor says it's okay. My mom was able to get herself off the Omeprazole permanently by incorporating ACV into her diet. Hope this helps and best wishes!

I take Dexilant for GERD (hiatus hernia and acid reflux). Is there a risk in also taking Apple Cider Vinegar while on Dexilant? ## The information available for Apple Cider Vinegar so far does not prove its effectiveness for treating medical conditions. Ref: Apple Cider Vinegar Information That said, there is also the risk of it worsening your GERD, though some people do seem to take it, without ill effect. I tried it for GERD, and gastritis, for me, it just made the pain worse, and I have since decided to stick with using any type of vinegar for cooking, and cleaning. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have done tons of research... prevacid or dexilant etc are meant to be taken for about 2 months..... myself and many other people have been on it for years! acid reflux can be caused by TOO LITTLE ACID, so maybe the medication is making it worse, now i am feeling one of the many side effects? (nausea and stomach cramping off and on for last year) or perhaps Apple cider vinegar does neutralize the reflux? I have nighttime acid reflux mostly. The ranitidine works to keep my acid lower but I get very vivid dreams. I try occasional Gaviscon but all these antacids with artificial sugars give me bad gas and are bad for you. They say tums and other antacids would taste too chalky w/o the sorbitol? Too much baking soda is bad for your kidneys... PPIs are generally bad for you. My head is elevated and I don't have any food or drinks for 3 hrs. before bed. What is the best pain medication for C I D P (Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy)? I'm taking opana 40 mg twice a day it does not work very well for me I'm still in bad pain.
