Only for pain in small amounts like ten mg. ## Doctors are not legally allowed to prescribe methadone for anything but pain managment. And 10 mg. is not right. I am in desperate need of a private doctor that prescribes methadone. I'm a single mom that works 40 hours a week serving tables. However all the money I make goes to the methadone clinic. It cost me 15 dollars a day to dose and 15 in gas to get there. Can someone please help. I can have all documents transferred from the clinic to a doctors office. also my concern about transferring to a private doctor is the milligrams given daily. Will they start me at the same amount of medication? Jacksonville or Saint Augustine area would be great. Also if you know the price of first visit that would be great ## Doctor's in my are give methadone for chronic pain.... It's cheap- 120 pills are about 22 bucks.... ## If it's for addiction treatment, then a private doctor can't help...

I am looking for a pain management physician in south Louisiana. My main problem is neuropathy pain and fibromylagia. Does anyone know of one who will prescribe pain medication? ## All you can do is make call and make an appointment with a pain management dr in your area. The dr willl want to get a copy of your medical records from your pcp or current dr. ## What I am asking for is a name of any pain management physician ## MLLB, put, pain management doctors, your city, louisiana, in your search bar. No one can tell you if any particular dr will prescribe you pain meds. What a dr prescribes you depends on a number of factors.

Someone please post the names of pain management physicians in Louisiana. Thank you. Everyone seems to give advise but no information we can use to get help. ## Put Pain Management Doctors and your city and state in google and the names of the drs in your area will come up. You can also go to websites like Healthgrades and Vitals to find the name of pain management drs in your area and things like the education and training of the dr. No one can tell you what a dr will and won't prescribe for anyone. If you have insurance, contact your insurance company and ask for pain management drs in your area that accept your insurance. Healthgrades and VItals do list insurances that drs accept, but the list is Not current.

I recently moved to Cincinnati from NE Ohio. My physician in Jackson Township tested me as ADHD. He has prescribed me 3 30 mg. tablets daily or 90 per month for the last 3 years. Does anyone know of any physicians in this area that would do the same? ## You will need a copy of your medical records from your previous dr. Although a new dr may still want to test you for ADHD. A new dr may or may not prescribe you the same medication in the same dosages as your last dr did. There is no way to know until you see them. You will need to see a psychiatrist.

"First do no harm." The starting line in the Hippocratic Oath. I have been a chronic pain patient off and on for 20 years. Should have been ON for the duration, but idiot overdosers and Congress got involved. Drs. are not fulfilling their path. Legitimate pain patients like myself live a miserable existence. We are not seeking drugs to get high or to sell, but to at least dull our pain. I contemplate suicide daily as a way to not feel the constant pain. There is no joy, no happiness and nothing to look forward to when even the smallest task brings tears to your eyes. Physicians are afraid to prescribe meds they know will alleviate pain because a bunch of bureaucrats, far removed from reality, dictate what they can prescribe. How unreasonable is that? Congress doesn't know me...

Does anyone know of any primary care physicians in the Shreveport/Bossier City/Haughton/Minden area that do pain management? I have been going to a pain management doctor here in Shreveport for about 6 years now, but it is just getting to expensive. He refuses to to go any higher on my dosage of Oxycontin, which is 30 mg 3 times a day. And he will not give me anything for break through pain. I am on Medicaid so I have to pay him out of pocket. Medicaid pays for 60 of my oxy's, but I have to pay for the other 30. If I knew of a primary care physician that accepts does some pain management and also accepts medicaid it would be a really big help. I'd really appreciate anyone that could help me out and answer this. Thank you. ## There aren't any PCP's who do Pain Management ...

I read 'Parkinsons Disease treatment guide for physicians' by Dr. J. Eric Ahlskog. He discusses use of the following:Folic acid 2.5 mg(I would prefer L-methyfolate), B6 25 mg ,B12 1 or 2 mg. I have the MTHFR mutation: compound heterozygosity c.665C.>T?1268A>C. This defect may lead to early arteriosclerotic vascular disease or venous thrombosis and toxicity from medications affecting folate metabolism. I have a homocysteine level on the high side of normal(three times the low level). This doctor gives his patients this vitamin combo because levodopa can cause high elevation of homocysteine is associated with the above diseases. Hello, I live in Arizona, where state law limits physicians to prescribe opiates for non-chronic pain at no more than a 7-day supply each month. My monthly prescription for hydrocodone is 30 pills, to be taken one Every Six Hours, only as needed. (These 30 pills are legally considered a 7-day supply). Since I don't need them very much, my prescription is refilled just twice a year, totaling 60 pills a year. But that's not the reason for my comment here, which is that I'm wondering why so many people don't seem to know that one day equals 24 hours, and they're asking questions like, for example - "If my prescription is for one pill every six hours, then how many pills is that in one day?" Have these folks lost the ability to do simple math? The average fifth g...

does this medicine contain sulfa? ## The answer to your question is no. Although many physicians commonly treat bladder infections with sulfa drugs, in the case of a sulfa allergy, several other non-sulfa medications are available; including Nitrofurantoin, Amoxicillin, Ciprofloxacin, and more. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Nitrofurantoin Details I hope this helps!

I was resently in the hospital and seen an add on the history channel of 3 new physicians that stared taking patients for suboxone would anyone have that info I do remember 2 of the doctors last names started with j???? Also this was for Evansville Indiana ## Hello, Annette! How are you? There is actually a search engine on the Suboxone site that you can use to check via zip code, it's at Suboxone.com click here. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Contact information will be included, so you can check and see which ones are accepting new patients. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Dr. Joseph at Boyett Treatment Center in Evansville.

Cream used for dry skin ## i have itchy skin on my left palm that has not been able to be cured by physicians for over 18 months. i have used LOTS of different medicine. And nothing helped. ## Have you seen a dermatologist or an Allergist/Immunologist? They might have a better idea of what is causing it and what may help.

I have been suffering from anxiety (along with some sort of epileptic fit disorder that seems to be baffling physicians ...for whatever reason.) also, i get Very tired during the day. to the point where i could fall asleep (almost) anywhere. I (obviously) don't, but being that tired is VERY irritating to say the least. I start taking Nuvigil 150 mg tablet tomorrow, and I am some-what worried about side affects this medication may have on someone (me) who had anxiety and gets easily "worked up" via "uppers" ## I certainly see your concern regarding anxiety, since Armodafinil (Nuvigil) is a stimulant-like drug. From what I could gather, the most commonly reported side effects were headache, nausea, dizziness, and insomnia. But you can view more specific details in the ...
