What is this pill, people keep telling me it's catapres,I don't believe it is. ## The imprint on the generic Catapres tablet that meets this description is actually LI 65, I separated it out to try to show that it's supposed to be a capital i, not a numeral 1. Cant seem to find out what it is, does all OTC pills come with a L on them? ## No, not all over the counter products have an L on them, just the ones from one particular manufacturer, LNK International. There are also some prescription products that use an L, it's just a different logo than the one used on the over the counter products and doesn't use the 3 number format after it. this pill is oval and has a typical score on one side and and indented score on the other. it has no writing on it other than the a small 5 imprinted on the side. it is small. peach or yellow colored. ## A possible match is a 5mg Nifedipine tablet from Canada, this is used to help lower blood pressure. It is a blood glucase type of pill used to cointrol diabetes. ## This medication is actually called Janumet, it contains both Metformin (500mgs) and Sitagliptin (50mgs) to better control blood sugar levels. What could it be ## Hi Junebug, Without an imprint I initially thought this would be like finding a needle in a haystack, BUT I did come across a pill that fits your description by the name of "I-Vite oral". Apparently it's some sort of pharmaceutical multivitamin containing vitamin A, C, and E, along with lutein and other minerals. Running an image search for "I-Vite tablets" on your search engine should yield results with photographs of the pill itself. They described it as an oval peach, scored tablet, but I'm not sure about its approximate size. Can you please post back and let me know if this tablet looks familiar?

I've done some searching in several databases, because I know the stylized V is used by Vintage/Qualitest on their prescription medications, but I can't find anything with 3229 on it, or anything similar. Knowing their logo, I know this is most likely a prescription medication, but I'm wondering if it's something unavailable in the U.S., or perhaps an old one that was removed from the market. One side has a line down the middle with the markings ip53. ## This tablet is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 20mgs of Citalopram, which is an SSRI antidepressant.
