I am trying to cut back on my pain pills (oxycodone #10) that I take 4-5 times daily for my pain. Been dealing with this chronic pain for 8 years. Five years ago after trying every cream, soaks, acid cream, non-narcotic pain medications, anti-depressants and surgery, I was prescribed Percocet 5-375. This provided me relief enough I could do "normal" things like go out to eat and a movie, trips up to 3 hours, wearing semi normal clothes. Then my doctor retired (Richmond va) and for 7 months I have been trying to find a doctor.......it's not going to happen. Now I am taking 1/2 of pill 3 times a day or 4 times if we have an invite for dinner (which is happening less and less). Is there any help?
