I have the problem of hypertension for the last 15 years. I was prescribed by the doctor to take ATLOL D every day & then Tonoric 50 but the range of my BP never gone below 170/110. Now I am prescrobed to take OLMAX 40 AM tablet.I am 55 years old & also facing the problem of uric acid. Please advice me. ## Many blood pressure and cardiac medications can cause elevated uric acid. The NIH lists the other typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Has there been any change? How are you doing, now?

My doctor has prescribed olmesartan 40 , amlodipine 5, and hydrothiazine 12.5 twice daily. I am self medicating with these 2 yr.old tablets that were given for my now deceased husband. I am on oxygen full time and for the past week, my breathing has gotten worse and I have pain in my right ear. I decided to cut out all of my herbal pills for eyesight and hair etc. to see if that was the cause. I still have shortness of breath.
