I have used nur isterate for less than 9 months and I stopped but it has been 7months since I had a normal menstrual cycle. How long does it take to get a normal cycle? I'm really worried that I might not be able to conceive in future! ## Hello, Gonste! How are you? What problems were you experiencing with your cycle? Did you just not have it? Was it irregular? And no, hormonal contraceptives don't cause permanent fertility problems. ## I took nur-isterate on the 1st of October and took the next dose on the 30th of November... If you engaged in intercourse, without using some form of protection, yes there is a risk of pregnancy, even though you took the pill and then received this injection. Not a very high one, though, it's a very slight risk. Hi, I recently started the nur-isterate injection. I had my first injection late august and my due day to get it again is next week. I have unprotected intercourse due to being protected and it being more spontaneous in the moment. I have been experiencing breast pain and nausea the last week. I started taking Nur-Isterate 200g on 12/07/16 and on 07/09/16 l had my menses. You were on this contraceptive, then stopped because you want to get pregnant, but you have had irregular menstrual cycles ever since? Is that correct?
