As I am suffering from cold, running nose, sneezing I took 2 spoons of brandy for 3 days continously in the night times. But my cold has not reduced. So please suggest me some good tablest to reduce cold. Also how many times should I take cetzine tablet in a day and so far there is no relief from cold. ## Colds are generally self-limiting and you don't need to take anything for them. If it lasts more than a few days, it may be allergies or a sinus infection, and you should check with your health care provider. ## Puzzled is correct. I'm also not sure what you thought Brandy was going to do. A cold is caused by a virus and there are some products that can be used to help alleviate the symptoms, but that's about as good as it gets. Have you consulted your doctor?

can i no why cold act tablet banned from India. Please let me know ## Hello, I'm not sure if the information I'm finding is referring to a specific country or if it's just in general. But from what I could gather, over the counter sales of cold tablets which use the methamphetamine precursors "ephedrine and pseudoephedrine" are said to be banned soon under a new parliament. Although they are effective cold remedies, the reason behind the ban is that these ingredients are used for the illegal manufacture of methamphetamine; and when the bill becomes law the tablets which use them will then be available by prescription-only. Perhaps there may be other underlying reasons behind this ban in India, but you would have to confirm this with your local pharmacy for more detai...

I was prescribed Clarithromycin 14 x 500mg by my doctor at Christmas for a cold that seemed to be developing into a chest infection. I didn't want to be ill during Christmas so I got the prescription dispensed. In the event I didn't need to take it but the flu I now have has developed into a chest infection. Normally I am prescribed 250mg twice daily for 7 days. Could I take 500mg once per day for 7 days or should I cut the 500mg pill and take it as 250mg twice daily. I am concerned about compromising the efficiency of the treatment. Any advice? ## What are the instructions on the prescription? Can i take a Cetrizine hydrocholride 10 mg tablet twice daily for a cold? I am a 60 year old lady. ## This is an antihistamine that is used to treat allergies, it will not help with a cold and the symptoms caused by a cold. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## 100% incorrect. Certirizine is incredibly effective for headcolds. It clears sinuses way FASTER than a decongestant.

Pl inform tablet for cold, body pain, head ache ## My father has been suffering from bodypains my fathers age is 40 so please inform me regarding tablets ## @vvrr, Sorry to hear about your father's ongoing pain. If this is a chronic condition he may just need to see a pain management specialist in order to receive proper treatment. However if this is something acute/minor, I would just suggest a few over-the-counter options for additional relief. A NSAID such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen, or Diclofenac may be helpful in that regard. He might also want to talk with his doctor about a prescription-strength muscle relaxer to help lessen any tension throughout his body. If he prefers a more natural approach, medical cannabis has also proven to be an effective muscle relaxant for m...

Also, adding a couple drops of the peppermint to some ice cold water should help to cool your body down. You may continue to vomit, but the oil should still be able to get into your blood ...
