I have a problem with blockage in my ear. It started last week when I had the flu. My flu is sorted out now, but my left ear is still blocked. Is it ok if I use moxypen 500? ## I had a grommet fitted abou 20 years ago and i am very often getting ear infection. I get penicillin and prednicort from the chemist but doesnt cure the problem for longer than 3 months. The area around the ear stays swollen and I had a scan done but shows nothing of interest. The space above my collarbone is also swollen from the permanent swelling which was also checked out with no concern report. I do have a perforated eardrum and mostly apply a Voltaren gel drenched plug which helps a lot. The voltaren plug is only put in the ear canal not direct to the eardrum. Clacee 500mg I am currently on Clacee and Moxypen both 500mg. Is it essential that I take a probiotic with these antibiotics? One of these tabs. is leaving a strange bitter taste in my mouth, is that a normal side affect? ## Most medications can cause an odd aftertaste for various reasons and usually it isn't anything to be concerned about. Was prescribed by dr this morning: CLACEE 500 mg, Moxypen 500 mg, and Pantoprazole 40 mg. Took the medication as prescribed and earlier tonight my heart started beating @110 so that I could hear it in my head. BP 178/80 with a terrible sweat. I'm now left wit a dull pain behind breastbone. Hi, i'm 8 weeks pregnant. I went to see a doctor 2 weeks back for an infection. He gave me moxypen-250 but it didn't work, then i just went to the clinic and explained my situation. The sister gave me azithromycin. She said it's safe to use during pregnancy. Is it safe to take 4 tablets at the same time? I don't want to take any risks.
