Would a physician prescribe 800 mg ibuprofen to nursing mother knowingly? Infant 3 mos. Rosa ## Hello, Rosa! How are you? Yes, Ibuprofen can safely be taken by a nursing mother. When a nursing woman requires an NSAID, it is the preferred choice, because it is only secreted in breast milk in very small amounts and infants are usually given much higher doses for fever and teething pain. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with?

While your breast feeding your uterus can contract and sometimes cause some discomfort. It's your uterus going back down to its normal size. But if you're that concerned and uncomfortable, do call your doctor. Any questions you may have, your doctor will be able to answer. ## Hello, Olu! How are you? It sounds like you may have had a bacterial infection, which is why the doctor prescribe this antibiotic. Having used carverjet & other manufactures, please be aware that after about 3-4 years of Injecting scarring will Acurr over the period ,and you will notice it more difficult to pass urine.it is a slow process & you may not notice. However as time goes on it will more difficult to enter the needle, From my own experience I would advise you to stop using. Otherwise you could end up using a catheter bag. Things manufacturers do state , but not the outcome. ## Hi, I've been using Caverject for many years now, and a long time ago, about two and a half years ago I talked to my Dr about using my 31 gauge syringe that I use for my insulin, he couldn't find any info on it but told me to just try it, if it works then great if not then back to the 30 gauge, well the 31 gauge works...

I am a 26 year old breast feeding mother, with sore throat for 3/7 now. I have tried amoxiclav but no change. Consulted a physician who recommended glevo 500mg OD x 4/7. My concern is my four months old baby. What are the effects of glevo 500mg on me or my child? ## Hi Rahma, In regards to Glevo (levofloxacin) use during breastfeeding, there are no controlled data/studies on the excretion of levofloxacin into human milk. Levofloxacin is the L-isomer of ofloxacin which is excreted into human milk. Quinolone-induced cartilage erosion and arthropathies that have been observed in juvenile animals render some concern over its possible toxic effects on the developing joints of nursing infants. Because of the potential for serious adverse effects in nursing infants, a decision should be made t...

I want to know if my girl friend can be charged for taking teck while pragnant she has came down 2 a quarter a day and bye the time baby gets here down 2 quarter every other day could the baby still withdraw and i been hearing about tn new law against mothers taking while pragnant even if thy r given by dr anyone knows anything ## Hello, Tapout! How are you and your girlfriend? Subutex is the one that can be taken, while pregnant, but her doctor needs to be aware of it, because yes, the baby could experience withdrawals. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

I just had a baby and want to loss the weight fast is it good to take Dinintel and breastfeed your baby ## i used 2 dinitel today (morning and before lunch) and breastfed my baby after 8 hrs, can this affect my baby and if so what are the effects? ## I would not recommend taking Dinintel while breast feeding. It is converted to d-amphetamine in your body after ingestion, and amphetamines are passed through to your baby. "Amphetamine has been shown to pass through into breast milk. Because of this, mothers taking amphetamine are advised to avoid breastfeeding during their course of treatment." [1] I hope this helps. You can read more about this drug on the page for . From there you will also see a link to a detailed article about Amphetamine. Hope this helps & good luck! [1] ...

My Mother was down with acute bronchitis. Doctor prescribed her Omnacortil 20 MG for 4 days, then 10 mg for 4 days and finally 5 MG for 4 days. After completion of the medication, she completely recovered but as a side effect of the medication, it seems she is not able to smell anything or tastes any food. Initially she lost her ability to smell anything completely, however now she is able to smell sometime, erratically. So please help me understand how long it will take to completely regain her ability to taste and smell. Doctor said, she will gradually recover in 2 months time, but even after 2 months she has not recovered completely. It has been little over 2 months now. Please advise. ## Hi, my mother also is facing the same problem with the same reason... Did your mothers problem i...

this is my mothers medication but because I changed pharmacies they are different in shape and this one in particular I cannot place with the new ones ## The size, shape and color actually means nothing, that is entirely up to whatever the manufacturer wants it to look like. Thus, it is very common for the same medication to look different when your pharmacy has that of a different manufacturer in stock.

I found this pill laying on my mothers floor and we do not know what it is and so far i have found no answers. the only answers i can find have numbers or letters added to it. there is no break in the pill and it only says TL 519. it is tan and sort of a oblong shape. what is it? ## I can't find any listings for this, either, in any of our U.S. prescription drug resources. That leaves 2 options, it could be something that is available over the counter, or there is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. Does she have any medications, or over the counter products that she takes regularly? ## Its a prenatal vitamin ## Yes, I agree with Prego...I have prenatal vitamins which are exactly as you described TL 519.
