How do Barclay Pharmacy get away with charging $1200.00 for 150 pills of Roxiecodone???!!! And $500.00 for 180 pills of Methadone??!! ## Supply and demand. There is nothing that makes them charge less. When supplies are short, they can charge as they please. Generics are supposed to be cheaper, but sometimes things happen that change that such as a shortage in raw materials. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## There is no shortage or anything else, each pharmacy is only allowed so many of each. But yes they can charge whatever they want because their not regulated. But thanks for the reply.

need to see picture of glyburide/metformin .5/00 believe i may have received the wrong pills they look different than last ones ## Hello, Lynn! How are you? Can you please post back with the markings on them, as well as their shape and color? Since this is a generic medication, it is manufactured by several companies and each has different markings and may also look different. This is very common with generic medications, because it creates market competition and helps keep prices down. However, I can't possibly list them all or post pictures of all them for you. The FDA classifies this medication as being an oral antidiabetic agent and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizzies, flatulence, bloating and hypoglycemia. Can you post back with these additional detail...

I have a round white metformin pill with a large or capitol H and the number 102 is it 500 mg. I have always had the oblong pill ## Hello, Firechief! How are you? Yes, this is listed as being a 500mg Metformin tablet, it's manufactured by Heritage Pharmaceuticals. It is normal for your pharmacy to sometimes provide you with medication from a different manufacturer, because whichever one they have in stock will depend on who was offering the cheapest price, when they needed to restock their supply. It is how they keep prices as low as possible for customers without insurance. Is there anything else I can help with?

My wife decided to change our health care plan to save me a few bucks and apparently they fast talked her or she didn’t catch it all.. but long story short, while speaking with Cigna / marketplace / healthcare.gov, they told my wife and I that our copay would simply jump to $40 from $20... OK, I can live with that, at least I thought, until I went to fill my meds today. Apparently we don't have a copay ... well let me rephrase that: it doesn’t kick in till we pay our $8000 deductible. I have never heard of a deductible having to be met to get meds (visits to docs, etc, ok). But I been paying 20 bucks for 2 years straight for my meds and today I was quoted for one 30 day supply a price that exceeded what 2.5 years of my previous medicine costed me.. $500 plus dollars! Sor...
