I don't know where the lot number is on the bottle. I am trying to find it. ## Hi Andrea, The following link by NIH has a detailed image of the product packaging (from 2013) for Turbersol that may offer some clues as to what the lot number is and where you might find it: dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/drugInfo.cfm?setid=a4a732e9-b8ee-4e6d-8b9a-6a9d2c36bfcd Looking at the example packaging on that page, there are several sets of numbers / letters on the "box" (not bottle) depicting a reference to something… the one's I noticed immediately were written out as follows (but each in a different place on the box): 2028821 299 (L) C00L0T Barcode: 349281752216 0000000-299 I question whether the '(L)' may be referring to a lot number, seeing as it also says "L0T...

Have a tube of Clotrimazole Beta. Dipro. cream, 1%. Don't know how long I've had it and can't interpret date code on end of tube. It is 669K 00T12 -- please tell me what the expiration date is. ## Look at the metal end of the tube and you will see the expiration date. You may need a magnifier. It is etched. ## Bob, can you see the manufacturer name on there anywhere? If so let me know, maybe it would be possible to contact them with that lot # and they could know the date based on that? And Jasmine's suggestion is probably right too, any luck with that? Interested to know either way. ## I posted the "Exp. date" etched on the end of the tube. But it's not a date! My question is, what does it translate into, datewise? Guess I'll have to query the mfr. ## Mf...

Can you taste of what is going in your feeding the ## Hello, Tina! How are you? Not usually, because these tubes generally bypass the taste buds and sinuses, which are our most prominent features for tasting things. I'd imagine there may be some taste, if the person develops gas and belches a lot, or in the case of acid reflux, which may result in their tasting some bile. Is someone having a problem with such?

My wife had methotrexate treatment a week after having to have a tube removed as result of ectopic pregnancy because levels were not going down. The first couple of days were fine, but on the 6th day she started having heavy bleeding and clots. Is this normal? ## It's kind of difficult to say, since there was quite a lot going on. It could be from the tube removal and ectopic pregnancy, or from this later treatment. Both could have an effect on her hormones and cause some irregular bleeding. Learn more Methotrexate details here. I see this was posted a few weeks ago. Have there been any changes? How is she doing?

I have lung problems and had tuberculosis when I was younger. I am now 66, have COPD and am very chemically sensitive. The dentist put me on clindamycin for an abscessed tooth. A lot of medications shut my lungs down and my oxygen drops. Should I take this medication? ## Is your dentist aware that you have had, and do have, such health issues? Are you on any other medications? The FDA warns that it carries the risk of causing side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash. However, overall, it would be far more dangerous to let an infection like this rage out of control, than it is to try the medication. Have you taken it, yet?

How can u get yeast infection? ## Hello, Candy! How are you? Are you referring to a vaginal yeast infection? If so, as listed by the NIH, there are several possible causes, such as taking tub baths that use a lot of soaps/oils or etc., wearing underwear that isn't cotton and retains too much moisture, remaining in a wet swimsuit for too long, or taking antibiotics. A yeast infection requires an antifungal medication to treat and the side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, stomach pain and spotting. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is there an expiration date for ichthammol ointment? I can't find any on the box or the tube. I've had it for quite a few years. ## Hey Dot, How's it going? From what I could gather, the shelf life of ichthammol is reported to be 2 years. And while I'm not aware of ichthammol becoming toxic or unsafe to use after that point in time, lots of meds like this can gradually become less effective, depending on storage/temperature conditions. I hope this helps! ## Thank you David, for your information on ichthammol ointment. ## I too have the same question and can't find answer from a professional. My CVS 1 oz tube has no expiration date. Can anyone help? ## It does have an expiration date. If you look on the tube towards the bottom you will see the bar code and then at the...

I had asked for assistance in finding this product once before, but I think I may have spelled it's name incorrectly. This is a cream that comes in a tube that is used for smaller-scale burns: when you touch an iron, hot pot, stove, etc. It works like a dream, but seems to be impossible to find in any pharmacy, at least in the places I asked for it. Any suggestions, please pass them along. Thanks. ## In the U.S. it is listed as being the main ingredient in several brand names, such as: Almay Anti-Itch Lotion DermaFlex Pramagel Lagol and Xylocaine. So you may wish to try looking for it under those names at your local store and pharmacies. ## Verwan, Thank you for the information about the burn cream I inquired about. ## I've known of this cream since I was a kid. My mom brought i...

i have mersa and they perscribe sulfameth ds tabs to treat it.. why? and how do i stop getting frequent break outs of mersa? ## MRSA (pronounced mersa) stands for Methicillin Resistant Staph Aureus, a type of bacteria that's resistant to a lot of common antibiotics. It does usually respond to sulfameth. If you have repeated infection, it's probably colonized your skin. You may be able to clear it by taking a bath with 1/2 cup bleach in a whole tub of warm (not hot) water for about 5 min, then rinsing off. Do that 1-2 times a week for about a month, and it should help. ## Bathing in bleach is NOT recommended and can actually be very dangerous! You should follow your doctor's instructions, using whatever medications they suggest you try. Not everyone responds to the same antib...

I have been using Jevity 1.5 cal with PEG tube. This past week, my stomach has not been accepting well. I get cramps similar to food poisoning. I also experience feeling extremely cold then clammy... I need a heating pad to keep me warm. I experience 3 -4 hours of discomfort after each feeding which means, am sick all day. Any suggestions? ## Have you consulted with your doctor? They are really the only person that is going to be able to help discover the answer to this dilemma and find a solution. There may be an ingredient in the Jevity that doesn't agree with you, perhaps you're sensitive to it, or allergic. ## Perhaps it's the cheap ingredients and GMO s that keep company profits high and people sick! ## I suspect that Jevity is causing lots of mucus is there a substitut...

One of the worst pains from diabetes is diabetic calluses on the bottom of the feet. Recently, maybe 6 months ago, I discovered a very hard callus on one of my diabetic feet. After the worst pain ever from a callus it grew to be about 2 inches by 3 inches & hurting worse & worse over time. Soon, I started walking on the sides of my feet without knowing it. However, I did realize that my feet were killing me. I bought a big 6 ounce tube of lotion for about $30 of Urea Cream from my foot doctor & it works. And this lotion has lasted forever. First of all my doc (professionally) shaved the bottom of the callous. Quick and easy. Then he recommended the lotion. It's called "Kera-42" by Clinical Therapeutic Solutions. It says "Urea 42%", so ultimately I think i...

How can buy this medication? I am in desperate need of it ## I have a rash under my arm pit and know it is spreading to my arms. I have used diprolene cream or Betameth cream before it is the only thing that works for me. I've had this problem on and off for years and have been to the best Doctor this is what works for me. ## Don, you might try to see if the generic form is available, which is Betamethasone Dip 0.05%. Should be available in a tube or bottle as an ointment, cream, or lotion (depending on what you were taking before). Check out drugstore.com and search for "Betamethasone Dipropionate". Also make sure you have a valid prescription handy. Hope this helps and good luck!

About three months ago I had a yeast infection and the doctor gave me canex v,and the infection went away after using it.The infection is back now.what could be the corse of that and can I use canex v once again? ## Yeast infections can have various causes… Are you on any medications, or were you on an antibiotic recently? Many drugs can throw off the PH of your body and kill the good bacteria, so yeast can grow out of control. Do you swim a lot? Do you take a lot of tub baths, or soak in a hot tub? The chemicals used in pools and spas, or in tap water can also throw off the PH, killing good bacteria. Do you use douche regularly? Douche can do the same as the chemicals I mentioned above. Do you engage in intercourse regularly? If so, your partner may be infected and need to be tre...

hi,ive been diagnosed with yeast infction and my obgyne prescribed fluconazole 150mg 1tab single does, but the white discharge is still there, just want to know if there are other anfungal meds which is effective than this? im a bit worried the yeast keeps on returning back, anybody help. thanks! ## How long has it been since you took the medication? It may take several days, before you see results. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach pain. Do you take a lot of tub baths? Do you use a lot of perfumed soaps? Are you on any other medications? All of these are factors that could cause recurring yeast infections.
