I found two pills in a cabnet that are reddish/brown in color and about the size of a dime in dia. approx 1/4 inch thick. on the top of the pill has (L489) engraved on it. I don't know if these are for human use or could they be for canine use (Heartworm)? Thank you, Mike ## This is a generic or store brand for Tums, containing 500mgs of Calcium Carbonate. If so, this is a medication that is no longer available, it contains 650mgs of Acetaminophen and 100mgs of Propoxyphene, it is a mild narcotic pain reliever that was removed from the market due to the fact that it was found to be cardiotoxic and cause an unusual number of overdose fatalities. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

What is this pill? i was prescribed it for skitzophrenia. i have been prescribed it in the past but never looked like this. i was wondering if the pharmasist gave me something else other than what was prescribed by accident. the bottle says 5 mg fluphenazine. its suppose to be a generic form of prolixen. ## Just to confirm, your pill is indeed Fluphenazine hydrochloride (5 mg). A small amount, not sure how much. They are an antidepressant/antianxiety medication. I had a drug screen last month from my pain management doctor that I've seen for 3 years without ever failing one. Here's the list of drugs I supposedly had in me: methadone 4500 ng/mL, oxycodone 225 , heroin 3850, used within 24 hrs. of urine collection, morphine 3840, hydrocodone 1320, norhydrocodone 489, hydromorphone130, noroxycodone 225, 6-monoacetylmorphine 16. The methadone and oxycodone is what is prescribed to me by my doctor. I am a 57 year old female that doesn't abuse drugs.
