white pill with red and green specks in it round ## I need to know what this k44 round white pill with red and green specks in it is. ## Sorry, I can't find anything listed in the US prescription drug databases for this, so I can only guess it is either a foreign drug or something available over the counter since they are not regulated as strictly. ## I appreciate all the help I can get..This was found in the floor at my mother-in-law's house when we moved her clothes washer. Can I do light exercise while taking Ketek, I train for the world champs in Aug and is a cyclist ## Based on my own understanding of Ketek (Telithromycin), light exercising should be fine. I certainly wouldn't suggest going all out and over-training on it though, just because it's working with your body to fight an infection, which can take it's toll on your energy levels throughout the day. Other details I've found about this medication state the following: "You should start to feel better early in your treatment. Call your doctor if your condition does not improve while you are taking telithromycin. Take telithromycin until you finish the prescription, even if you feel better. If you stop taking telithromycin too soon or if you skip doses of telithromycin, your inf...

How long do the effects of a Kenalog inj. last? I got gout while traveling alone on a cruise, and my only option was a Kenalog inj. This was a week ago today. My results have been completely favorable with no side effects (so far), but had I had the option, I would NEVER have chosen to have cortisone. I'm wondering how long the pain relieving effects of Kenalog last (1 week, 1 month, 1 year?) but mostly I am wondering if I may have untoward effects later. Has anyone had any experience in a case like this? ## It actually contains Triamcinolone, still a corticosteroid, but a different one. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, acne, weight gain and fluid retention, as reported by the FDA. It's actually usually dosed weekly for gout,...

My husband is allergic to aspirin….can he use Keto/Lido? ## Hi Karen, From what I understand, Aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) has no chemical relation to Ketoprofen or Lidocaine. So from that perspective I don't see why he wouldn't be able to use Keto/Lido, unless otherwise instructed by his doctor. On that note I do think it would still be best to discuss taking any new medications with his doctor first and foremost, since he/she can make the most appropriate decision based on closer evaluation or after checking your husbands medical records for any other possible discrepancies/contraindications. I hope this helps!

How do you use these pills to kick an opiate habit without gaining a dependence upon them? ## Hello, Witchy! How are you? This is an 8/2mg Suboxone tablet (generic), so you don't. People generally end up being dependent on it for awhile and then they are tapered off very slowly to enable them to become drug free. This is a narcotic opiate, so it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
