A small round pink/light red pill with an italic capital S on one side and the number 62 on the other side. The pill is a chalky white on the inside and the coating scratches away. I'm thinking it may be some sort of painkiller? ## It is not listed in any of our prescription drug resources. While there is a chance that it is a very new tablet, it makes me suspect that it may be something available over the counter. There is also a chance that it could be a foreign medication. Can you provide anymore information? Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere? ## It's a birth control pill called Seasonal (Levonorgestrel - ethinyl estradiol) ## No don't worry like that it's only a contraceptive pill!!

I was prescibed Serta-50mg.by the doctor for depression.I have been taking it for last three years.Since I am feeling netter. can I stop it.now ## Do not stop cold turkey! You will be very sick. My doctor said to wean slowly. For a month, take a half a pill a day. Then a half a pill every OTHER day. Then stop. I did it just like this 33 days ago was the last pill I had and im still trying to get these withdraw symptoms to stop. Im very sick to my stomach almost all the time. It sucks ## Hi Meena! The reason you are feeling better is because you are taking the medication. I know people who stopped their medication and they were fine for awhile then lapsed into depression again. It is NOT good to stop the medication until you speak to your doctor. Call him first.

A typical italian sweet, is an ancient sweet. It contains fennel, sugar, lemon and honey. ## Well Honey is purported to be a superfood, not to mention the fact that citrus fruits such as lemon are very healthy. Admittedly, I'm a little confused, however, since I'm not sure if the title Baxin is supposed to refer to the drug Biaxin, or if you are even posting a question of any sort? Can you please reply with more details of what you are referring to here?

Itake 1.5mg mirapex 3 times a day,i take 12 sinemet 25/100 through a course of a day i want to know how do i go about getting myself off these 2 meds my life course has changed i dont need them anymore[PARKINSONS DISEASE]. ## Hi, Kevin! To avoid withdrawal and rebound effects, tapering is usually done very, very slowly. The current preferred method is to have the person start to skip doses, or stretch out the time between when they take them. Such as taking them every 10 hours, rather than every 8 and then slowly lengthening the time even further. But this method can take weeks or months. However, you should consult your doctor to see what method is safest for you. Have you consulted your doctor, yet?

cold medicine obtained in Italy ## powder in packet. gotten over the counter in Italy unsure of ingredients ## I have been able to verify that yes this is a cold remedy from Italy. I found the ingredients in their language but can't find anything translated. Anyway here goes: Paracetamolo 600mg., Acido ascorbico 40mg, and Fenilefrina Cloridrate 10mg. Im fairly certain the second ingredient is ascorbic acid and the third one is some type of an antihistamine, but I have no clue as to what the first ingredient is. Hi, I'm an Italian chemist. I need to be updated on all new International drugs (new molecules and new names for drugs already on the market) that enter the market of the various countries of the world. Where i can find this service? Regards Dott. Diego

i live in italy and would like to buy the geniune fruta planta . can someone recommend a site for me to buy the right one and usual what is the right price for them ## There are a lot of sketchy sites out there selling this supplement, but if I were in your shoes, I'd say your best bet is to simply google "fruta planta" and take a look at the shopping results that come up. From what I can tell they tend to run about $10-$30 on average depending on the pill count. Before placing an order, I would also check to see any shipping or return policies, as well as making sure they list their contact info in case you need to reach someone about an order or other questions about their products. I hope this helps!

Peach oval pill with italicized v and 3229 ## Hi, Tracey! Where did you find it? I've done some searching in several databases, because I know the stylized V is used by Vintage/Qualitest on their prescription medications, but I can't find anything with 3229 on it, or anything similar. Knowing their logo, I know this is most likely a prescription medication, but I'm wondering if it's something unavailable in the U.S., or perhaps an old one that was removed from the market. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? I'll keep searching and post back when I have information for you.

Hello, I'm an Italian subscriber to your newsletter and I'm writing because of a peculiar problem that goes as follows. In my country there was a medication called AntiAdiposo that was a mixture of iodocasein and thiamine. It was on the market since approximately 40 years and, to the best of my knowledge, there was never a claimed problem about it. The drug was also really effective for at least a subcategory of people with problems of obesity and adiposity. But last October, this indespensable (for many) medication was taken off the market. Why should this be the case, I never understood. Someone at the regulatiry agency named EMEA claimed generic risks of hyperthyroidism and thireotoxicosis (spelling?). Now, all what I could find in the web is a Mexican product called Yodolact...

Small white round pill with an italicized E and the number 10 (not italicized beneath). The back has a white score line and nothing else. What is this? ## This tablet is manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 100mgs of Labetalol, which is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Is there anything else I can help with?

Benzenesulfonamide, produced in France or Italy ## If I am correct this is an antibiotic from France. It is especially used to treat and prevent urinary tract infections. It is recommended when traveling to ask your doctor for a prescription to take with you, (traveling out of the country I mean.) I think the generic name is Noroxin. Side effects include serious diarrhea, headaches, blurred vision.

Does itaid in losing weight and does it cause your hair to shed ## This is a medication that is used to treat conditions such as congestive heart failure and high blood pressure, it contains the active ingredients Triamterene and Hydrochlorothiazide. It can remove excess fluid from the body, which may cause some weight loss, but it will not be a significant loss, unless you have edema or CHF. Its other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may include nausea, dizziness, increased urination, dehydration and hypotension. Yes, it may cause hair loss in some people that take it, as well. Has it been prescribed for you?

I'm going on a long plane trip to Italy. Taking Lisinopril (10 mg) a.m + Toprol xl (25 mg) am and p.m. My Dr. has given me Ativan (1 mg) for anxiety to take 1 hr. before the flight. I'm very worried about mixing these 3 all at one time. Also concerned about Ativan not lasting through the 16 hrs of my trip. Any suggestions? It's my first time taking Ativan. The closer the trip gets the more anxious I am. What about splitting up the dose of Ativan in half in case 1 mg doesn't last 16 hours? I'm also, wondering about getting on Italy's time zone schedule for my blood pressure meds since they are 9 hours ahead of us in AZ. Can I skip a day or take my dose a few hours early to get on the same schedule as AZ? Any thoughts are appreciated. P.S. I also have Valium that I...
