I was given betamox 250 and flustat for a flu infection. I started taking it yesterday and have experienced bad nausea and vomiting for the past two nights. I have never had such a reaction from antibiotics before. Could it be from it or the combination of the two? I am thinking of stopping the medication ## Hello, Nat! How are you? It is hard to say, because those can be side effects of both of them. The U.S. FDA lists other typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. I have been throwing up for over 20 years and it recently became a serious issue because of all the changes due to drug abuse. I had been taking 75 mg of Phenergan 3 times a day. I was maintaining my weight and was living a rather normal day, only throwing up every couple of days. A year ago they took me off of it and I was 160 lbs... I now weigh 91 lbs and am continuing to lose weight. I am having trouble holding down even my seizure medicines!!! They did start giving me some again after I got down to 96 lbs, however, I am still losing weight. I have been as low as 89 lbs. I am only prescribed 12.5mg three times a day! I have been on Contrave for 3 months. I have battled nausea all along, hoping it would go away. I've lost 15 pounds. The pill seems to make everything taste bad. Coffee, spicy food, even just scrambled eggs taste bitter and gritty. I didn't have any other side effect. This past week, the nausea has moved on to vomiting. I've used Tumms and Dramamine as well as a prescription anti nausea med on and off for all three months. I truly feel poisoned. I was taking 2 pills per day (1AM & 1PM)of EX400 Gauifenesin to loosen thick mucous for 3 days and stop, then I experience sudden severe nausea and vomiting (6x) for 3 hours. Then I took Reglan & Benadryl to stop the dizziness and vomiting. ## Reglan?? Oh my!! Have you not seen all the warnings about reglan and tardiff disconesia sp? hi i am using nexito plus since last 2 years and now i stopped and i am feeling numbness in my face feet and hands. i want to know is this problem due to stopped the medicine pls help..... ## How long has it been since you stopped taking it? It is really hard to say what anyone may experience as withdrawal effects, though the U.S. FDA lists the typical ones for this class of medications as possibly including seizures, nausea, dizziness, vomiting, chills, headache and anxiety. I think it would be best to consult a doctor, as the numbness could be the side effect of certain types of seizures, or circulation problems, which may require medical treatment.

Sir I'm an ocd patient and used to use fludac 60 mg once daily and nexito forte night . im also a diabetic patient using januvia 100 mg and metformin 500 mg twice a day. Suddenly 2 days back had vomitings and indigestion so stopped all medication. Feeling now very weak and cold chills shivering and sweating. Now my psychiatrist is suggesting to take nexito forte 2 tablets and he says everything will be alright. Should I use or wait and see please reply. he asked me to stop fludac and start nexito forte. How do I avoid the horrible nausea and vomiting from my 30mg ER morphine pills prescribed to me. It is causing this on a weekend and no offices are open or available other than the ER, which this is not a real emergency. ## Hello, Kelly! How are you? Sorry about the problem that you're having. Have you tried taking them with food, or milk? In many cases that can help, because they can be very rough on an empty stomach. ## How can I stop the dizziness? I can't get it to stop. I've been taking 30mg for lower back pain. ## Take it with gravol. Gravol is an antiemetic which helps deal with balance and could help with dizziness.

In one day, I received a flu shot, started wearing progressive lenses in glasses for the first time, hit my head (minor), and started isosorbide. I spent most of the day vomiting with debilitating headaches. Some of the day was a return visit to the doctors office to vomit there as proof. At one point, I put a weightlifting plate wrapped in a towel on my head. The worthless pain medicine Tramadol did not help. Hi Guys. Tuesday night was the last time I had taken opiates. I was taking around 480mg Codiene per day. Yesterday (Wednesday) at 9am I took 4mg Suboxone, then an hour later I felt dizzy and sick. At around 6pm I took the last 4mg and felt the same. Today (Thursday), the pharmacist gave me the whole 8mg to take at once. Well, once again, after an hour the dizziness was very mild but the sickness was horrendous and I couldn't stop. I can only describe it as being on a fair ride and not being able to get off. My pharmacist said that this could be due to me starting the subs too soon (*not sure what this means). My question is - has anyone else suffered this, and if so, how long am I looking at? I was on Wellbrutrin about 12 years ago and experienced severe nausia for weeks before giving up. A subsequent doctor convinced me to try it again. I has frequent nausea that seemed to ease after a few weeks. Shortly thereafter I experienced cyclical vomiting about every 4-5 weeks. It would last from a few hours to a few days. The doctor said it didn't make sense that Wellbutrin is the cause. I went on that way for a year until I began a clinical trial requiring me to stop Wellbutrin. The vomiting stopped. Hey! I started this last month on 4/25 and the first week was miserable. I take it in the morning with Zoloft. I had really bad nausea either early in the morning or an hour after I take my pill. I don't usually eat in the morning so maybe that could be the reason why I have felt so awful. I have puked on a bus last month about a day after starting the pill. I finally finished my first pack and I just started a new pack. This time the nausea is worse and I can't stop puking. Especially after trying to eat. I wonder if I just need to eat with the pill, start taking it at night or just stop it all together. Yesterday I had heart burning and found difficult to eat, however I was hungry and ate bread with salami. Since morning there after I have no heart burning but a very mild pain or heaviness in the center of my stomach just at the center of my lungs from where they start curving. This is accompanied by sensation of vomiting resulting in huge saliva formation but the vomit does not come. I have taken Eno, zantac, and pantocid D but seems to have little relief though the saliva formation and the feeling of vomiting has stopped but have a feeling of half stuck burp. Hi,I used to smoke for 25 years. I tried many ways to stop it . I smoked 25-40 cig/day.I did not want to go to work and to friends and family in the past 12 months because I needed to smoke very much and nobody in my friend criss was smoking. 2 months ago I started Champix (the European version of Chantix). I stopped smoking. I have sometimes headache, vomiting feeling,stomach pain,weird dreams, insomnia and last month no menstruationand and etc but I am happy I am not dependent anymore. I have no insurance was in hospital w food poisoning I was given antibiotics that I had allergic reaction to Stopped antibiotics and still have infection/bacteria,nausea,vomiting, chills Can I use pentrexyl ? ## What antibiotics did you have an allergic reaction to? Pentrexyl contains Ampicillin, so there's a chance that you may also be allergic to it. The FDA lists the typical side effects of antibiotics as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

i take 3-4 tabs of trika .5 mg since 4 mnths..i find difficulty falling asleep if i take 1 tab or if i dont take it. it has become my habit to take 3 tabs daily. how can i get rid of this habit?????? pls help. ## Trika contains Alprazolam, a benzodiazepine and they can be highly addictive.
