My problem is much like so many others on here. After being treated with meds for 12 years (120 Soma per month as well as 180 Norco 10 and 120 Valium 10) my wife which is on full disability was also treated by the same doc for 9 years. The doctor was raided by local police and DEA but was never charged with anything unfortunately the local press basically tried and convicted him in 1 week smear campain. As a result he never returned.to his.practice and allowed his medical license to expire. It's now been 22 months and the DEA still has my medical file as well as 15 other patients. It has been the closest thing to hell as I have every known. I can't even get a doctor to write a prescription for my gout medication. I was with a pain center and moved back to Indiana. I arrived to find no Doctors even with all my recorded that would treat me. Even to just get to pain center. I broke my foot and had to have screws placed to heal. I spoke to my surgeon about my file and how I have been treated for pain. After being treated like I was drug seeking the surgeon sent me home with a product he know there was No way a person would get pain control. Had to go to hospital that night called office to find they had a bet on me making it. Knowing they sent me home this way. Chart said one thing and staff did another. I was the office joke. Now If I stand up for my sself. I will be put in some list. HOW R DOCTORS ABLE TO GET BY WITH THIS. Need help finding a Dr here thats still a Doctor and not a robot. Every where

I am in Indianapolis. Is it hard to find a doctor here to prescribe suboxone? I am having a hard time finding a doctor. I have been on pain killers for years and not only want to get off them but my doctor and the whole practice is starting to deny any prescriptions for narcotics which seems to be the norm here now. I have legit pain but I would rather deal with it then be treated like a drug addict by doctors! I have tried tapering and cold turkey. I think subs are the way to go. If you require such a medication on a long-term basis for chronic pain, you will most likely need to see a pain management specialist. Do you have a PCP that you see regularly? If so, then it would most likely be easiest to have them refer to you someone. I'm prescribed 3 8/2mg film of Suboxone for pain and my Dr that prescribes my Suboxone and manage my pain is OK with me taking benzos for anxiety but he won't prescribe them for my. Hello, my husband is a chronic addict, When saying that I mean he will do anything and he will do any amount at anytime and he doesnt care. He has been doing very well though here lately hes held a job for a few years, staying out of jail and he started a treatment program about 40 miles from where we live and he was taking the drug Subutex there. The issue with that is he had to go there everyday to get the dose. If you think about it, how can anyone do that and hold a job or afford to live right doing that, so hes been on 24mg a day and now hes not going there and we need to find a reasonably priced doctor that he can see to get the prescription for this medication and get it monthly. Hey everyone. I have a problem I went to my Dr Monday and the DEA shut him down. I went to him for 1 month and quit going to my pain clinic of 3 yrs, and now they won't take me back. I had a tremendously horrible up-bringing. My parents werent physical, with me, but the verbal abuse was so intense that I can no longer take it. I worry non-stop then I worry about why I am worrying about so many things. Takes me forever to fall asleep, then I get up tired. I just completed 6 weeks of Lexapro, & sure, it helps...but only just very slightly makes me feel happier. Ive had Effexor XR, Zoloft & Abilify. All of it makes me weird & extremely tired. My husband has lumbago (lower back pain) and I gets pretty bad where it keeps him up at night. He had Medicaid however he's switched to a few doctors and none are willing to give him anything that works for him for pain these days 2 years ago he was on a combination of Valium and norco but since that doctor was no longer available the next doctor would t prescribe them.
