I have been on pain meds since 2005 for tendinosis, and more recently for DDD and a herniated L5 to S1. I have been taking six Norco 10's a day since 2008, and usually had no problems getting my scripts filled until recently. It seems pharmacies are getting scared of these new laws. I was using Walmart for several months until today they said they weren't taking any scripts from my doctor because of "lack of communication and because he writes to many scripts for pain meds". Yes, he writes many scripts for narcotics because he's a pain specialist! And I'm sure if he ran a clinic for diabetics he would write lots of scripts for diabetes! Am Female Around 60ish And Have been diagnosed with MS. I have had Fibro since 1989. I am so tired of being in pain, I told my current Doctor that the number of Vicodin ES she gives me each month leaves me without pain meds the last week of each month. She immediately cut my meds to ONE REGULAR VICODIN A DAY!!!!! She is now convinced I am drug seeking I am mortified -- I am left speechless and in pain. Does anyone know of a compassionate doctor who will prescribe norcos in the Los Angeles area? I have a lower back issue that is inoperable (without consequences) and need them to just be a functioning adult again. ## If you have a serious pain issue and have x-rays, medical records and /or a MRI Dr. Benoush Zarrini is a great pain management doctor, who will work with you in your medications, make sure he knows exactly how much pain you are in!!!!! Additionally, due to the new directives set forth by the DEA last year, you'll need to see specialists to have such medications prescribed, so in your case, that would most likely be one doctor for pain management and a psychiatrist for the Xanax. I have chronic pain on my knee from a torn meniscus. Does anyone know of a good pain management clinic in SF bay area that makes you sign a opiate contract and receive this medicine? I just moved to Riverside CA from Texas and I have been on Adderall for years. I just ran out of my last pill, but now I cannot seem to find any doctor that will even see me to write me a prescription. I don't have insurance but I do have an rx discount card. How can I locate pharmacies in the Los Angeles, Southern California area that carries Phenergan (Promethazine) with Codeine Cough Syrup manufactured by Actavis? ## There is really no way of knowing which pharmacy is going to have any particular manufacturer's product in stock, because when it comes to generics, it can vary, depending on what company was offering the cheapest price, when they had to restock their supply. The only thing I can really suggest is going to the pharmacies and asking them. Since this contains Codeine, you'll likely not get an accurate answer, if you just call and ask. Looking for a pain dr in las Vegas or Los Angeles area that accepts out of state patients ## Unfortunately, that is not going to be possible, now. Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need an established relationship with a doctor to be prescribe anything and they're going to require that you live near where they practice. Pharmacies will also require that you live within a certain radius and the doctor be located within a certain radius to get anything filled. Is there anything else I can help with?
