Am in central FL & just lost my pain dr. after 10 yrs. I have several intractable pain conditions which means without pain medication I simply would be bedridden & slowly die. I have attempted to establish a new dr. to maintain my pain relief but have been turned away from over 10 now-not to mention the others whom my primary sent records to & they simply denied even an appointment for me. Am wheelchair bound & in extremely obvious pain (deformed arms, knees, back) but here apparently drs. licenses are more important than treating patients. I was actually told by one specialist he wouldn't write me prescriptions because he not want to lose his license. Others simply made excuses why they couldn't take me as a patient client. I had no problems until sept2012 then ...

I am disabled I have Part D insurance to help with my prescriptions the discount card is no good since I have the insurance so I have to pay close to $300 a month for my pills can you please help me in some way ## Hello, George! How are you? There is a program available that may help you, if you qualify, it's from the Patient Advocate Foundation and you can call them for more information, 866-512-3861. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Can you please post back and let me know if you have any luck? Thanks!

Just wondering how the script would be written for K56 BID or PRN ## Hi Sara, Depending on the description of your pill, a round pink pill imprinted with "K 56" is identified as Oxycodone hydrochloride 10 mg. Manufacturer: KVK Tech Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 10702-056 With regards to that information, I'd imagine that your doctor would simply write you a script for Oxycodone with that specific drug code or manufacturer in mind. Different doctors may write their scripts differently though, so I guess it's not really for anyone else to say how he or she might go about filling out a prescription form. Hopefully this information helps to answer your question! :) ## 50 2mg xanax 2pills nocte for sleep insomnia. 3 repeats.

My doctor retired. I AM IN LINDENHURST LONG ISLAND, NY. I AM LOOKING FOR A DOC THAT PRESCRIBES 30MG OXYCODONE WITHOUT BEING A STICKLER. MY LAST DOC IS OUT OF BUSINESS. CAN ANYONE GIVE ME A DOC NAME? I WILL SELF PAY ## Under the new regulations that went into effect on April 1st, doctors no longer have any choice but to be sticklers about prescribing such medications. If they aren't careful and don't very closely monitor their patients, they risk losing their license to practice medicine. And being a self-pay is just going to make it even harder. Most doctors and pharmacies will shy away from that in regards to controlled substances, because it makes it too easy for someone to doctor and pharmacy shop to get multiple prescriptions for controlled substances. I would also like to let you know that go...

On oxycontin 80 mg. twice a day. Ran out but need dr. to write rx. But need ins. to cover it. ## From what I understand, that it is usually going to be based on your doctor's discretion as far as trying to convince him/her to write you a script early. So that's really only something you can speak with your doctor about if you've built any sort of trust within your patient/doctor relationship. You can always just be upfront and honest about how your increased use of oxycontin. But just so this never happens again, you should always take your medication as prescribed and nothing more. Otherwise you'll just keep repeating the cycle and digging a deeper hole. As far as your insurance is concerned, I believe someone in another thread had recently mentioned that most scripts h...

Plans or cash...if someone knows where I can go please HELP!!! ## Me too. I hated Methadone because I was prescribed it by an ***** Doctor on 120 mgs. That was for 14 yrs. The withdrawal on that amount was 3 years long. I was suicidal and not at all myself. I went back on pain meds when my neck went back to needing sx. So my new pain doc tried two different pain meds. Does anyone know of a good doctor that will write for oxycodone? Needs to be in Maryland. Any suggestions are appreciated. ## Unfortunately, no one can really know ahead of time what a doctor is or is not willing to prescribe, as that is based on the doctor's discretion and not on someone else's previous appointment (especially since many doctor's are now worried about losing their licensing for prescribing too many narcotics). Some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for any 'specific medication' when you see a new doctor. Just make sure to transfer or take a copy of all your medical records with you. Then, the best approach in my opinion, is to discuss up front and honestly what has or hasn't worked for you in the past. Most doctors will take it un...

I moved from fort lauderdale to Naples fl and I have been on my roxy 30's for 4 years now. I'm and injured vet and have been in four horrible car accidents now to where I can't get out of bed without all my meds. So for the past 4 months I have to drive 5 hours just to get my meds filled.
