As for my case, it's extreme that even at night I must have to wake from sleep maybe every 1 hour to quench internal hotness by drinking a cup of water so as to survive for the second day. Even if I drink tea as dinner or whatever food I may take, I've never escape this experience. Maybe i was born with it. I'm almost 30 yrs. old. I'm drinking so much water but it's only helping temporarily. Please what can I do? ## I have excessive internal body heat and at night I hardly sleep, whereas I need to pour water on my body before I could sleep some 4 to 5 times before the day breaks. Most of the time I have boils and rashes all over me. Please advise what treatment options I might have? ## Please tell me, what is the right medication for a persistent internal heat? I...

I was diagnosed with adhd about 2 wks ago and perscribed generic adderall 20mg xr. I store my meds in a cubbard above the stove. Last fri I did a self clean on the oven I had never done it before didn't realize how hot it would get. All the meds in the cubbard were extremely hot. Before that the meds worked great I was focused my thoughts were more clear and I was motivated but since then the meds don't seem to be working at all. Could the extreme heat have messed the meds up? ## Hello, Lolo! How are you? It is doubtful that it would have caused them to degrade so fast that they would no longer be effective. It usually takes a lot of time to do that, not just a few hours or so. However, you do need to move your medications to a better location. That is not a good place to store ...

Finished Epclusa 2 months ago and hot weather is making me very exhausted, plus my legs have mild edema. I'm 65yrs old and dont know if the treatment was successful yet. ## Hello Davoe, This is perfectly normal. Reportedly it takes roughly 12 weeks before the doctors will run tests to see if there is no longer a virus load and even when the tests show that the treatment was successful the body will still need additional time to heal. The healing process length is a case by case basis due to variables such as exercise regiment, diet, age, the bodies ability to recover etc. During the healing process you are already going to be fatigued more than normal and adding heat to the equation will only result in more exhaustion. Just be sure to appropriately hydrate and take as many breaks to...

my daughter is in turkey and has prickly heat on har chest and face but her anti#histamine tablets are not working. what can she do? ## Prickly Heat, or Milaria, is usually more annoying, than dangerous. Has she consulted a doctor? It is not an allergy and generally will not respond to antihistamines. It basically occurs when exposure to a lot of heat causes blockages in the pores, due to extreme sweating. Sometimes, over the counter antibacterial ointments can help, however, I don't know what is available in Turkey.

I am taking Sulfam tri tab, and forgot I was on it (only 2nd day) took one of my two today and had a drink this evening and was hit with extreme nausea and overwhelming hot flashes...is this normal? Is it the alcohol? Alergic to Sulfam? ## Sulfam Tri contains the active ingredient Sulfadiazine, this is an antibiotic. this site is not medical professionals, so you should consult your doctor to be sure, but it was more than likely because of the alcohol. Such issues are why you are told not to drink alcohol when taking prescription medications, it can aggravate the side effects and make them much stronger. That is, however, not a typical symptom of an allergic reaction. Along with those side effects, you may also experience dizziness and diarrhea. Have you contacted your doctor, yet? ## I...

I am having a heat boil on middle of my legs. Shall i try the candid B cream for cure ? Kindly answer me is this useful for heat boils. ## Hello, Bobby! How are you? No, this medication is most commonly used to treat fungal infections, such as yeast infections. It will not help with boils that are caused by bacteria. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, skin irritation, redness, and dryness. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Which cream can I use for heat boils..... heat boils on my lip n nose

I feel occasionally warm sensation from buttock to feet particularly in right leg for two months. Doctor done MRI of LS SPINE and VS SPINE and NOV test of four limbs. Nothing as such found. Doctor advised to take Pragba M and Vitamin Regunex CD3. What is your opinion. Whether correct medicine prescribed and symtomps will be removed. ## The only way to find out is by trying them to see if they help you, or not. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood swings, and weight changes. Have you started taking them, yet? If so, are they working?

I recently got keto/lido/cycl cream that was prescribed to me because a year ago I got whiplash from a car accident and it still hasn't gone away. I was wondering whether or not I could use the cream with a heating pad as for I use the pad alot? The cream is exactly 10% ketoprofen 6G, 4% lidocaine 2.4G, and 1% cyclobenzaprine 0.6G. I would very much appreciate anyone who could answer me. Thank you! ## Hi Jessica, thank you for bearing with me as I did not have a chance to reply back to your other thread. Because there is Lidocaine in the cream I would avoid using a heating pad unless you can get an okay from your doc or the compounding pharmacist. I read on a page from drugs.com about the Lidoderm patch (which is basically another topical form of Lidocaine, but administered through ...

I have been on levo for 2 1/2 years. Started at 75 for about a year and a half. I got a new dr and dose was upped to 100, then 125 for last six months. I have also been dealing with menopause, I THINK. In the last 5 months I have had trouble falling asleep, jittery, nervous energy. I have worked outdoors in the heat with no problems. Now that I look back, I have had a hard time in the heat since I started levo. A couple months ago I weaned off of cymbalta and after those withdrawals were over, I started getting naseau and migraine. Has anyone else experienced heat problems? And is there a natural med for hypothyroidism? ## Hi Lisa, Sorry to hear about your situation. According to the US National Library of Medicine, "sensitivity to heat" is listed as a serious side effect of Lev...

I have been reading all of the posts on Fent. pain patches. I have been on 25 MG since March 2009. I was on one brand and could not get it to stay stuck after a hot flash. I am in surgically induced menopause. The pharm then switched brands, which do stick better. But I have noticed about an hour after a hot flash that I get dizzy and sick to my tummy. I also am in stage 3 kidney failure. I decided to call the number on the back Mylan box. YES, body temp. changes, such as fever or menopause, or even rise from exercise, can cause the patch to release more med than it should. ALSO, in my talking with the company I learned I should NOT be taking it with my kidney failure as it IS processed thru the kidneys. I am going to a highly respected pain doc in our area. When I told them about the k...

I've been taking Saphris and it's been significantly helpful, but lately it seems like it's stopped working, for the most part. Side effects that last for a few hours after taking (appetite, sleepiness) still happen, but other effects (constipation, twitching) have become very minor if not gone. The tongue numbness associated with taking it has largely stopped too. Of course, most importantly, the beneficial effect seems to have died out. I feel like I did before I started taking it. I'm trying to figure out why. I split 10mg tablets into halves for a dose at night, and then use a 2.5mg in the morning. They're split fine, but could that, for some reason, compromise their effectiveness? Will they rapidly lose effectiveness outside their blister pack? Some of them I ca...

I have severe pain in my left wrist and it is burning. Can I rub some Deep Heating Rub on it even thought I am on Warfarin ## I'd suggest asking your doctor or pharmacist, to be sure. While there shouldn't be a problem, it really depends on the ingredients of the rub you are using. Some of them contain products that can cause additional blood thinning. Or, if you'd like to post back with the ingredients, I'll be happy to check for you! Do you know what it contains?
