As a gynecologist, I used to prescribe Bellergal S-tabs for vasomotor symptoms of menopause with varying success. Over the years (35+ in practice) I just got out of the habit, and I forgot why. Now I'd like to add it back into my black bag as an alternative therapeutic choice and lo and behold, it seems to be off the market! I've searched for 30 minutes now, and still haven't been able to find the exact dose of belladonna/ergotamine/phenobarbital the S-tabs used to have. Can anyone help? ## Hi, Harry! How are you? There were some FDA crackdowns regarding some of these types of medications that involved unapproved substances, or unapproved dosages. Companies were ordered to remove them from the market, until safety could be proven with testing. The bad thing about that was th...

My gynec suggested Nauturogest 200mg tab for 20 days after my 5th day of menses...but after 10th day bleeding starts for 5 days. Now I missed my period LMP 11-11-2013, but pregnancy check shows a negative result. What is the reason behind it? ## Hello, Kochu! How are you? Those days of bleeding were most likely your period and your cycle has likely changed to reflect that. It can happen sometimes, when you use a hormone, such as this. However, why did he have you taking it for 20 days? Taking it that early in your cycle with prevent ovulation and you won't be able to get pregnant.

My doctor (gynecologist) has prescribed me with 3 mobizox tablets for pain in my ribs... However, after taking one mobizox tablet I later came to know that the mobizox tablet is not safe during pregnancy and that there will be unwanted side effects on fetal development or new born babies. Although I have taken only one tablet and stopped using the remaining 2 mobizox tablets, kindly advise if there will be any adverse effects on my baby from taking the one mobizox tablet?

I visited the gynecologist to have a yearly exam, she stated i needed to be on a low dose of estrogen, because i had had a hysterectomy years before (like 6 yrs), and i was at risk for osteporosis). I advised her i smoked heavily, it was asked on the new patient form. She gave me no indication that i could get a blood clot being that i am over 35 (i am 39) and that i smoke. Last weds i had a big clot that went to my heart and caused a heart attack. I have great doctors, and they said i am lucky to be alive. I now have damage to my heart. I quit smoking. The hematologist is doing major blood work, sending it to all parts of the country to see why i got the blook clot, but we think it's because of that estrogen patch she gave me, smoking, and being close to 40. What are the known side effects of Gynec CVP tablets? ## Gynae CVP is just a vitamin supplement that's often given to pregnant women to help support the health of both mother and baby, because she needs more nutrients as this time. It really hasn't been tested for side effects, as is done with actual prescription drugs, but some people do report some nausea after taking them.

I'm 40 y/o now. My Gynecologist prescribed me with conzace cap H3O. I had my surgery for endemetriosis and mioma last June 3, 2008. What are the good and bad side effects of Conzace cap H3O? ## I was unable to find any information regarding Conzace, since it is not manufactured in the US. They are made in the Philippines, and are vitamins used a dietary supplements, and not drugs. Since these are vitamins, it is hard to determine the side effects. Everyone reacts differently to vitamins, I personally had a bad experience with to much B12. Your medication contains vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, and Zinc Sulfate. Please post back if you have any more information to add so I can further assist you. ## Can this vitamin make menstruation irregular?
