Has anybody heard of a generic flexeril called Benzday they are 30 mg.Found a site with a great price but would like to know if anybody had these or heard of these? ## Cyclobenzaprine is the active ingredient found in Flexeril and Benzaday; which are both brand names. Found a very small, peach-colored pill. Has the number 282 on one side, and "IG" on the other. I think it's a 5mg flexeril, but would like confirmation please. ? ## Hi Kathleen, From what I could gather, a round peach pill marked with IG on one side and 282 on the other, is reportedly identified as a 5mg Cyclobenzaprine tablet - the generic for Flexeril. Apparently it's a muscle relaxer but has an off-label use for fibromyalgia as well. And for added verification, this pill is listed as being manufactured by a company called InvaGen Pharma. It is only used for Restless Leg Syndrome. At the end of your sentence you say something like flexiaril. I thought perhaps you were referring to the brand name Flexeril, a muscle relaxer used for muscle pain, muscle spasms. Requip is strictly used for People who's legs move constantly when lying down, sitting down, especially when sleeping. They find it hard to sleep well because their legs keep on moving. dan5658 ## need to know proper doseage and possible side affects ## This tablet is the generic version of Flexeril, called Cyclobenzaprine and is 10mgs. 10mgs is a normal dosage, for the regular release tablet. This type of tablet also comes in a 5mg dosage. There are extended release capsules available in 15 and 30mgs. As to the dosage appropriate for you, only your doctor can decide that.

The problem is the mussels in the lower part of my body tighten up, I do stretching exersize to releave the pain and the pain comes back. I found a bottle of pills...the bottle indicates that they are Cyclobenzaprine 10mg tablets...a generic for Flexeril 10mg. I looked up the description for the pill but what's in the bottle is a small white pill with the number 5658 on one side and DAN on other side... What is this exactly? ## It's a muscle relaxer. It's non narcotic but can be habit forming. I take 10mg a day for my back. It will also knock you out or make you tired. You have the generic form of it is all. ## It is Cyclobenzaprine. Once a pill is available for generic production it is made by many different companies and each will have a unique marking to enable identification.

This, however, is NOT the strongest muscle relaxant available, Soma or Skelaxin are both much stronger, this one is fairly mild. It is not used near as much as the 10mg, but being prescribed more. It is a smooth muscle relaxant and ha side effects of drowsiness, dizziness, blurry vision.
