Find A veterans administration Doctor to prescribe Oxycodone
How can I find a VA doctor to prescribe oxycontin? I have chronic pain. This drug helps to relieve it, and it doesn't make me loopy. However, because there are those who abuse it, I have not been able to find a VA doctor who will prescribe it. ## I know a few veterans that go to the VA for all there primary care doctors but go to a pain management clinic because the VA is very strict on giving narcotics. They do have a pain management program at the VA but they will start you drugs like tramdol, baclofen and gabapentin and I doubt you will ever get oxycontin. You are probably better off finding a pm doc who is not affiliated with the VA. Good luck ## Have a legit pain issue and you wont have a problem. I get morphine and oxys from the va. ## @Rod Keen, Unfortunately, no one can real... ...

What Doctor?
my husband broke his back his L 3 Vertebrata two years ago and was prescribed oxycodone from his sergeant and has been on this narcotic every since. And now he got a letter stating that he can no longer recieve his prescription from that sergeants office anymore and that he needs to go to his primary care physician and he does not have one.. So we decided to just try to get him off of the oxycodone and he started to fill really sick and his back was killing him so i guess what i am trying to figure out is what to do about the situation should we get him to a pain Management Doctor or should we go to a detox clinic? He really hates that he has to take a pain killer to function and when it wears off he fills really sore and gets the cold sweats and he needs another pill.. I have to get him i ...

Hydrocodone And Oxycodone
I had surgery in May for disc replacement in C5 and C6 and was taking 10-325mg of Norco for pain, on October 12th I had a disc replaced in L5-S1 and my surgeon put me on 10-325mg of Percocet and Valium 10mg. I have been depressed at home and went to my primary care doctor who prescribed 7.5-500mg of Lortab, I was taking the other meds 2 every 4 hours for pain and have been dropped to 1 Lortab every 4-6 hours, this is not controlling my pain, my doctor feels I have been taking the Percocet for too long, 2 months, he also took me off my Valium 10mg and changed it to Klonopin 1mg, half to 1 pill twice a day, I have been in a lot of pain for a few days now since changing dosages and feel anxious and depressed, is this acceptable or should I go talk to my surgeon again and have my meds chang... ...

More details about this drug can be viewed in the link below: Please post back if you need help locating a pain management doctor in your area and/or local pharmacy to fill your valid prescription. I hope this helps! ## Well I don't do to pain specialist , I go to a Interalist who specializes in Bones , I have had a bone disease since I was 13 years old, everything from working in a shipyard for 14 years sandblasting and spray painting to working in an Insurance office as an agent working myself up to distric... ...

sonoma county ca drs who prescribe oxycodone
Anyone know of a dr in sonoma county, CA who prescribes oxycidone and takes medi-care? Ive been taking 100mgs for several years and my meds were stolen so my primary cancelled my contract. I had not breached my contract b4. No early fills, etc... I think she just wanted me off & that was her opportunity. ## Hello, Jay! How are you? Yes, if she was a PCP that might be so, because they are actually supposed to cut down on who they prescribe such medications for, due to new regulations that were put in place last year. If you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis, you'll need to see a pain management specialist. Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such a... ...

Need to find a doctor in Upstate NY that specializes in Migraines
I have had migraines since I was 13. Recently, last 4 months, found that Oxycodone takes the pain, auora, and naseau away in about an hour, and keeps it away for up to 8 hours. This is a miracle. No other migraine drug ever worked like this. Now, with the new laws, my primary won't prescribe this. I need to locate a migraine doctor that will treat me. I only get one or two headaches a month, and take 1-2 pills for them, so I am only needing 4 to 6 pills a month, but still impossible to get them. They really are a life changer for migraine sufferers. I wish someone had tried these on me 30 years ago. My life would have been a lot easier. ## Due to the new regulations, you'll need to see a specialist, so that could be either someone specializing in pain management, or a neurologis... ...

Medication from pharmacy
I have a service connected disability and can't find a pharmacy that my primary pain management doctor just prescribed me. It 30 mgs of oxycodone. No one had it and I'm still in pain. I live in queens NewYork. Why would he give me something no body has.? ## Hello, Gerard! How are you? I am very sorry about the problem that you're having. However, how have you been checking to see if the pharmacies have it in stock? If you're just calling them on the phone, you're not going to get a real answer, because they have no way of knowing if the person on the other end of the line is a potential their, or a legitimate customer with a need, so they'll just say that they don't have it. You have to actually physically go to the pharmacy, with the prescription in hand. Th... ...

Inadequate Pain Control- how to STOP IT?
Unethical failure to adequately treat pain continues after years of consideration of same as unethical. What can we DO? These are real people doing real suffering. I know how to get what I need but only because of medical/pharmacological sophistication coupled with a wonderful primary care MD.. MD's tell patients DEA won't allow it... Patients adhere to old myths (like the woman who couldn't get oxycodone but was AFRAID to use the morphine prescribed because of a long-discarded mythology as well as the advent of very effective SR morphine formulations which make it less dangerous than aspirin. ## Unfortunately, I don't think there will be any way to stop these problems, until such a time as people stop abusing such medications. Every doctor has to be on guard for such be... ...
