I was seeing a Dr. for 3 yrs. that was prescribing Adderall for me ..it changed my life for the better ! The Dr. quit his practice and I have not been able to find a Dr. who will prescribe this drug ! I was taking a very low dose . I thought I would just do without and see how it goes ..it's been 6 months and I can feel myself slipping into depression and lethargy much like I've lived my whole life and I know I don't have to feel this way anymore ! I've been getting suboxone illegally for 2 years. I haven't used H in 2 years. I have fidelis gold insurance but I don't know any doctor that can help. I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. However, a regular doctor cannot prescribe it for you for addiction treatment/maintenance, that can only be done in a clinical setting by those that are specially trained in its use. As to a clinic that would take your insurance, since I don't know where you are, or what insurance you have, I can't help search for one. I had two x-rays done by two different doctors here in Appleton WI, one said I have arthritis in my lower back, another one recently told me it is osteoarthritis. The pain is getting worse. But not one of these doctors prescribed pain medication. I have had 5 knee surgeries im only 26.... I have been in soma for a long time on and off. I have tried every muscle relaxer/spasmodic out there. All of a sudden my dr won't prescribe soma anymore?? I have a disease that has no cure and I know what works for me. I have given an honest try with all the other muscle meds, but I am at my wit end. I had a doctor who prescribed me suboxone but I dropped dirty and he dropped me as a patient. I found a new doctor but he wants my file. I've been IV'ing h for 10 years almost. Need Dr to refill pain med until they can get me into pain management clinic. Live in Oklahoma ## You don't have a current doctor that's referring you to pain management? If you do, then seeing them for it would be your best bet, because they can prescribe something short-term, until you get in for a pain management appointment. The main difficulty is going to be looking for a prescription like this from a new doctor, many tend to see that as drug seeking behavior and won't want to prescribe anything right out of the gate. Does anyone else know a doctor in the area they can suggest?
