Fake Pill

I had orange 36 05 pills (SB 7.5 hydrocodone / 325 acetaminophen). I noticed that they passed (in stool) almost intact. They gotta be fakes, right? ## Not necessarily, many pills contain fillers and have shells that are not intended to be broken down by the human body. They are normally expelled as waste, even though the medication itself is actually released and used. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation, they also carry the risk of being habit forming. The main question is, did they work for you to relieve pain?

Round white and taste like chalk break easily and thick feel nothing ## @Maya, Where did you get these pills from if you don't mind me asking? I know most steroids are sold illegally online and the websites that carry them therefore do not guarantee their legitimacy, efficacy, or safety. They probably figure that it's cheaper for them to market fake pills knowing that many people out there will eventually purchase them just to take a shot in the dark regardless of whether or not its real. And that's unfortunately the nature of the situation when you take anything that's been banned or heavily controlled like steroids. The counterfeiters will keep making their rounds knowing the demand is always high. Have you not tried any safer ways to get in the shape you want to be in...

I purchased Griseofulvin Tablets 250 Mg. Package came with Grisonex /Griseoflvin. It is an oblong pill scored down the middle and 250 on the other side. Is this a real pill or counterfit? Thank you ## Hi Jeannie, From what I could gather, images depicting a legitimate version of this white oblong shaped pill, are supposed to have the word "GRIS-PEG" on one side; and on the other should be a score line with the number "250" sitting on the right half of it... much like this for example: (__|250). So depending on how you went about getting these pills, whether it was from a licensed pharmacy in the US or ordered off the internet, that would probably be a good indicator of their legitimacy. In some cases even the counterfeit pills still work, but for your own safety there...

This is a 500mg Tylenol pill. People are scratching the rest of an M to make it appear as Hyrocodone. Looks Like M 484. Just Be Aware ## @PDR 500, Thanks for the heads up. However, any legitimate patient shouldn't have to worry about this at all. Anyone can avoid such discrepancies by simply obtaining their Rx medication from a licensed pharmacy and not trying to "beat around the bush", if you will. Counterfeits are becoming much more prevalent throughout the world, as money hungry crooks try to cash in on needy pain patients. The best way to protect yourself is to remain legitimate and follow the rules, despite how restrictive they may be.

Is my xanax real or fake? I didn't feel a thing so this makes me question it. Please I need ur help to tell me if i have got fake ones. It has 4 lines with 2090 on one side n V on the other... ## Hello, Amanda! How are you? The tablet with this marking is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 2mgs of Alprazolam. If you received it from a licensed U.S. pharmacy, there is no reason to doubt its authenticity, however, if it was obtained in some other manner, then you may have received fakes. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Zepose 10 is definitely fake. I've been taking it for a we...

How can you tell a real 7.5/325 from a fake one? Is there any tests you or your pharmacy could do? Thank you! ## Hello, Arlene! How are you? No, the only way to be sure, if you didn't obtain it from a licensed U.S. pharmacy, would be to pay to have it lab evaluated somewhere. Are there any markings on the tablet in question? That information would enable to check more details on it for you, such as if there are known fakes. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## I've gotten two different ones before that I thought and knew were fake. Including Norco 10/325. I'll write down markings of both. Markings on Norco ...

Has anyone filled their prescription for blue Watson 10/500 pills from any pharmacies over the phone? I got 90 that look like my CVS refill, but have the effect of a vitamin. Ripped off again. ## I think I was similarly scammed. The color was greenish, not blue like the regular Watson 10/500 and tasted salty. I had been called 20 times and finally succumbed. Is this your experience too. The phone number was a 305 exchange ## I purchased Norcos over the phone. Came in a vacuumed plastic bag. They were blue with WATSON 540 printed on them. The looked real but when you take them it is like you are on valium, you don't get pain relief. Purchased from a 321 exchange. Anyone else with the same experience? ## I have also received fake pills from a 321 exchange. They are not real and will n...

So confused.. There are some of these that are really crumbly and look a lot darker than the ones I originally saw. They taste a lot grosser and are unpleasant.. They also melt in your hand and I didn't recall them doing that before.. ## @Natalie, First things first, depending on whether or not you're getting these filled at a real licensed pharmacy (which you didn't mention), there's really no way to know if what you're getting is real outside of having each tablet analyzed by a lab for verification. This is because counterfeits are becoming increasingly similar to legitimate versions of the same drug, often possessing the same imprint, color, and shape. So in my opinion, the most important thing you can do in such situations is to just be upfront and honest with yo...

My wife has a bad heart, and pain effects her heart. these actavis percocet must be nothing but phony material. they dont even touch her pain like watson pills did. this company should not be able to cheat the public like this. peoples heath is at stake. they need to be shut down. why are these companies allowed to sell products that don't even work. people pay to get their pain taken care of. does cvs not care either, they are accepting these. ## There are others complaining about actavis on this website. look around a little ## Hello, Stan! How is your wife doing? I'm very sorry that this medication isn't working for her. The best suggestion I can make is that she speak to her doctor about prescribing something else. 10/325 on one side and m325 on the other. How can I tell if it is real? ## Hello, Lou! How are you? If you received it from a legitimate licensed U.S. pharmacy, then there is no need to worry. However, if it was obtained from some other source, there is no way to know what you may have received and it would be best to dispose of them. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I don't think my Norco is real. It does not feel like it is working and I am having w/d symptoms. It's small, white and round. The markings are RX 497. I've heard that fake pills are making it into the states from overseas and I think mine is fake. Has anyone else experienced this problem? ## Hello, JBT! How are you? This tablet is listed as containing 10mgs of Hydrocdone and 325mgs of Acetainophen. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Were you taking a different one, before? There can be slight fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredients from one generic to another, so this one may be slightly lower than the prior one that you were tak...

A friend of mine received some white watson853's I took 3 and felt nothing. And I live in a very small town in thevery middle of the US . I guess what I'm saying is they got here in new the Boones fast! ## Unfortunately fake pills are continuously being dispersed all across the country and the scary part is that they're pressed to look identical to their real counterparts; potentially containing anything from poisonous substances and illicit drugs to other harmful inactive ingredients. However if you fill your prescription at a licensed pharmacy you shouldn't have to worry about a thing. Personally, I just don't think risking one's life for such a temporary fix is worth it and I truly hope those who really need this medication consult with their doctor for a safe...

Need to know asap if this exist ... I get this from a friend ## Hello, Ray! How are you? Not that I'm aware of, I've not seen many complaints saying such, so far. This tablet is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA lists this medications as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. what o.t.c. drug most resembles an oxy coidone 15 ## There are several Oxycodone tablets on the market, so the way they look would depend on who has manufactured them. In addition, since they all have a unique imprint to enable their identification, you are not going to find an OTC item that matches that. Are there any other comments or questions?

Got a pill that had OC on the front and 40 on the back...Took it and felt nothing... Looked at pics online and noticed the 4 on the 40 imprint was different. .. the online pics has the 4 open and not joined...Actually mine looked like ( 40).. the 4 is closed not open... im thinking its fake.. ## Hello, Rufus! How are you? It most likely was, because these are no longer being manufactured. Purdue changed the formulation to help prevent abuse and the new tablets use the marking OP on them. They discontinued the original formulation with the OC on them. The FDA lists Oxycodone as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. It's best not to take anything that hasn...

I recently got 80mg OC OxyContin that are green but they do not help me at all, it's almost as if they were fake. Does anyone know about them? Are the OC coming back? I need to know right away! Thanks so much! ## No, at this time Purdue has no intention of bringing the original formulation back to market. If that's what you have, they are either fake or extremely old and have lost efficacy, as medications tend to do over time. The FDA classifies Oxycontin as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Switch to 40mg of opana they are just like the original 80mg oxycontin

Pills not working as well, have ON underlined with a 10 on the other side. anyone else having problems? ## Hi Nancy, Did you get these pills at a pharmacy or online? If you got them online, you may have gotten a generic version which could potentially be a lot less potent than the brand name variety. Based on my research, the FDA permits generic formulas to vary by as much as 20% from the active ingredients in brand formulas. Do you think this could be the case?

In det. There are fake pills vicks. And narcos b carefull do not get had. some how if its to good to b true it is they are white oval an in bags if u dont see the bottle then dont mess with them. They are real powdery an always have different numbers. Be carfull

how can you check to see if the pills are real or fake(besides looking at them) ## ## If they are the name brand, from the U.S., then twe's post should be helpful. There are, however, also many generics on the market and many available from foreign countries, as well. The legal, U.S. generics are required by law to have some type of imprint on the tablet, to enable their identification. If the tablets you are questioning are from the U.S. and have an imprint, then if you post back with it, I can easily look it up for you to see if it contains Alprazolam. Just as an example, a round blue pill, with the marking of MYLAN A1 on one side contains 1mg of Alprazolam. A blue oval tablet, with the marking of G 3721 on one side also contains 1mg. The only other alternative, if you've ord...

They just seem chalky taste and they don't work like 2mg xanax do I take one and can one and fall asleep on these i can take as many as i want and feel NOTHING. ## I have taken xanax for years. I am positive that the pill you are talking about is another generic of a 2mg xanax, xanax is chalky anyways, even the brand is. I do know from experience that different companies that make xanax use different fillers, and the fillers can cause you to feel that the pill is not working the same, especially a pill that you are acustom to taking. For example. I used to take Norco 10 for pain, they make yellow ones and white one, two completely different copanies. Even though they have the exact same ingredients, I feel that the white ones work better than the yellow ones. It's mental, at lea...
