Eye Pain

I took my last dose this afternoon. I was given this for a uti. About 3 days in i stareted feeling awful....nausea, sweats, body aches. However i really just wanted my uti gone, and it was to late to call dr. Now my eyes really hurt, I have a small spot on both my eyes....I am wondering if this will go away now that i have finished meds or do i need to follow up with dr? ## It never hurts to have such issues checked out by your doctor, there is a chance these symptoms may go away, according to NIH reports, but there is a chance they might be unrelated. Has there been any change, so far? Are you on any other medications? Has your UTI cleared up? What do you mean by a spot, is it a floater, or a spot that is always present?

I started taking Macrobid for a UTI, I only took one pill yesterday and one today. This afternoon my right eye hurts and waters some. I have had dry eye issues in the eye previously. I am also female and 62 years old. Will this go away when I quit the Macrobid? ## It might not, actually, according to the FDA, this medication has been known to cause optic neuritis, which can sometimes result in permanent damage to the optic nerve. It would be best to have this checked, because you may need to switch to a different medication. Have you experienced any other side effects?

I am on 200mg of gabapentin, 2weeks into it, keep getting heavy eye ache, plus temple pains , should be updoseing soon but ? don't rearly no ## Hello, Sue22! How are you? Those can be normal side effects of this medication, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and weight gain. Once you're on one steady dose for about a month, they should taper off and eventually go away entirely. If not, then you should inform your doctor as it may not be the right medication for you. What would happen if i were to take six L437 pm pills at once? ## The medication you're describing marked "L437 PM" is identified as Pain relief PM extra strength, containing: Acetaminophen 500 mg + Diphenhydramine 25 mg. You're talking about taking 6 of these tablets at once, but if you only took 2 of them you would've already reached the maximum safe dose of Acetaminophen (in a 24hr period); the main concern here being liver damage and other symptoms associated with overdosing. I just took my first full day and have terrible pain and pressure behind my eyes. It hurts to keep them open and I had trouble sleeping. Cant feel this way and be able to go in to work. Got prescribed 20mg temazepam for anxiety and sleep disorder. White round white tablet. Score one side 30 on other. Sorry bad eyesight but I'm sure it says 30. Anyways, I feel it takes away pain as well. Anyone else get this effect from temazepam? ## Restoril or Temazepam has diazepam in it as well as a hypnotic for sleeping. They're prescribed as sleeping pills.. if you're getting pain relief from it it’s probably because it has relaxed your body enough to get real rest and sleep.. I've had a pain pump since 2007 until April of 2022. In all those years I never missed a refill for one thing as to do so could be fatal. Refills took place every 4 months. But in April 2022 due to a severe illness I wasn't able to get my pump refill and my pump ran out of medicine. Once that happened I was surely looking death in the eye as I was already very ill. However nothing happened once my pump ran out of medicine. This could mean only one thing. I’m on Humira (adalimumab) for RA joint pain and would like to know how other people are doing on it? I’m doing great. ## So very glad that it is working so well for you! As with any medication, there are those, such as you, that have had great results using it, and some that haven't had such good luck. From what I was able to find Danueron is simply a vitamin B supplement and neither of your symptoms are associated with this type of vitamin. I am using eptoin 300mg for past 9 months and some times in between i skip taking the medicine. Earlier for few months, every thing was fine, but now a days i am feeling the dizziness full day and some body pains. Because of this, my eyes remain swelled for the full day.
