I am suffering with Gastric Problem from past 1 year. My friends suggested Omez tablet for Gastric Problems. Endoscopy result confirmed that i have antral gastritis and gerd grade A. My doctor prescribed me pantodac tablets for 20 days.So,my question is can i be completely cured and is it a serious illness. Hi, I was told that i have gastritis and I was given omeprazole and ranitidine several times but it never worked. Now they have given me pylokit. My wife is 43yrs of age and is taking seloken xl 50 & olmy A tabs for blood pressure, along with thyronorm 75 tabs; often she gets gastritis. What should we do? After the Endoscopy, my doctor said that I have mild gastritis and gave Raberparzole plus domerpride capsules for 10 days but my family doctor prescribed me Pylokit for 7 days... What to do ??? ## If you don't have h. pylori, then the Pylokit isn't necessary, because it is used to eradicate that bacteria. Hi, I was diagnosed to have an acute gastritis last 2010 and still having the symptoms last month. Now, I have severe cold and I have been taking bio flu for 2 days. My concern is, is it okay for me to take bioflu? because yesterday i started to feel the pain in the upper part of my abdomen. Now, I'm planning change bioflu to biogesic (I'm from Philippines). ## Hi Jeenzey, You mentioned having a "severe" cold, too much coughing might cause discomfort or pain in the abdominal muscle. Biogesic is safe and given for fever and mild pain. It could be taken with or without food. I suggest you eat frequently or small frequent meal if you have history of acute gastritis.

My wife had gall bladder stone removal surgery in 2005. After a year, she developed Acute gastritis and stomach pain. The doc prescribed Pan d and multivitamin. But now these medicines are not giving relief to her. Kindle suggest the treatment module required. Many thanks.

Since last 1 year I am taking Thyronorm 50mcg when my TSH was 15.6. Presently since last 6 month or so the TSH level is 2 to 3 . I take TSH & FT4 test regularly. Now a days I have feeling of upset stomach, gastritis, constipation. Should I reduce the doses to 25mcg. or stop taking medicine ## TSH 2-3 is fine. I went see my primary doctor for low back pain and gave me meloxicam 15mg to take once a day with food. Will it be safe to take? ## Hello, Vic! How are you? If you have chronic gastritis, you shouldn't take any nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, such as the Meloxicam. They can be very harsh on the stomach and can cause gastritis, or gastritis flare ups as side effects. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and increased risk of bleeding. by endoscopy teste doctor confirmed me "antral erosive gastritis" and gave amoxaciline, levofloxaciline and omeprazole for 14 days but after 2 months i am feeling same pain. mentioning here that, i am taking omeprazole continue 2 tablet (omeprazole 20mg) daily. what can i do? ## I also had gastritis and the proton pump inhibitors, such as Omeprazole didn't work for me either.
