I recently had an emergency reaction to Brintellix. The active ingredient is Vortioxetine and it has 532 known drugs that if taken at the same time will cause serotonin syndrome. In my case i had withdrawals changing from one med to another, so i was give an anti-nausea tablet. It turned out this was one of the meds that clashes with Vortioxetine. It actually isn't a good idea to drink within a few days of taking any NSAID. They both tend to be very harsh on the stomach and liver, so drinking while taking one could result in stomach bleeding, stomach ulceration, liver damage or failure. However, if your doctor approves of you drinking, then you should remember to only do so in moderation and make sure that you aren't driving, since it may cause worsening of the side effects, you may feel more nauseous, drowsy and dizzy than usual. My dr has quit practicing. I am on a low dose opiate paingmt & am being treated like a drug addict seeker by every dr I see. HELP!! I am in a real need for your help.
