TN-need help to find doctor for xanax

live between knoxville and chattanooga need to find a doctor to prescribe xanax ---thank you for any help ## It can be prescribed by any doctor with a valid medical license, it does not require a specialist. The problem, however, generally arises when you go to a new doctor and start asking for or insisting on certain medications. It raises a lot of red flags for the doctors. Especially since Xanax, which contains Alprazolam is a very potent Benzodiazepine and is highly addictive in nature. Do you have your medical records? Have you had them transferred to a new doctor? ...

very bad panic attacks have had a recent death in the family going through a divorce anxiety depression also have a chronic disease. ## Hello, Renee! How are you? There is no such thing as a Xanax doctor and there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. Technically, it can be prescribed by any licensed medical doctor, however, due to some new regulations that were put in place this year in order to try to cut down on improper prescribing and over prescribing, general practitioners and surgeons have new guidelines to follow regarding what they can prescribe. Thus, in most cases you'll need to see a specialist to be prescribed a medication such as this. Do you currently have PCP that could refer you to someone? ## My name... ...

Unless there is some medical reason that makes it dangerous for you to take Suboxone, such as being allergic to the Naloxone or pregnant, a doctor is going to want you to go with Suboxone. Anyone going to a good pain doctor in Memphis that is taking new patients. I am on disability and my wife and I both have r.a. The Dr. we have been seeing for over 10 years has cut our pain meds. If we need something stronger he said find a pain management Dr. He now wants to cut out our pain meds all together. Help please this is such a painful and depressing desease. ## I'm sorry that you're having such problems. New regulations have been put in place at the start of the year that are discouraging general practitioners and surgeons from prescribing pain medications for long-term use, due to the risk of improper prescribing and over prescribing, since they haven't been specially trained at managing pain. I simply can't make the drive to the old doctor anymore because it's so far away and we totalled our truck. Can anyone please help? Need to find a pain doc that write roxycoden, I've tried alot of other pain meds and.roxys are the only way i.get pain releaf ## If you truly have a diagnosed condition, that can be assessed by CT scans, MRI's, lab findings, or other devices such as ultrasound, then you probably do need a Schedule Two narcotic. In receiving a Schedule two, the mindset now is that you will probably be on them for an extended period of your life. In the past, in order to make patients comfortable, doctors were prescribing medications like OxyContin, Roxicodone, Duragesic Patches, etc. for pain alleviation. If you are having sporadic or afflictions that cannot be measured scientifically, then the chances of getting a CII are limited. Even hydrocodone CIII, is coming under scrutiny. How are you? I'm very sorry about the problems that you're having. Yes, it is normal for the Suboxone doctor to want to taper you down, after a period of time, because that is what they are supposed to do, since they treat addiction, not pain. It is in the FDA guidelines for such treatment. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and con... ...
